I had this thought for a pen before I saw the video, but I covered it in electrical tape for 3 reasons.

1) Better grip.

2) If you put a bit on both end caps, it gives the pen a good weight.

3) It looks cooler with the tape. :3

@xKnight117 it has to dow with the fact that theres a suction force exerting on the ink due to the fact that one of the ends id covered by the point... have you ever stuck a straw in soda and then put your finger over the whole at the top? well the soda stays within the straw because the suction caused between the soda wantig to fall out and there not being any air to replace the volome of the sode... it cant take in amy more air because of your finger... or in this case the pen point...
