Er I have my characters stand still and all Im using BYONDS dreammaker because GM7's not working for me i was testing to see if the idle worked i started moving and my characters idle repeated throughout Alot of the frames.Do i just need to finish Correctly to fix this?Respond ASAP.

@Hiper361 GM8 doesn't save in gif. It save in png or gmspr. I might have to make an update sometime when I can be bothered to load .gmspr format.

@Shadow12476 They just need to be in the same folder as the game itself. Putting them in any other folder is optional as long as you include the path to the folder when uploading.

The frames of your custom character has to match the actions of the one they replace or the animations will look messed up.

Make action of your sprite match the original. Like for running, your sprites need to be the same amount of frames as the original running sprites.

To use a folder make sure its in the same place as the game and put in the upload box...

(your folder name/your character name) without the parenthesis.

Cant do hyper sonic but you can do super sonic by having an original form and the super form. Just make sure that the super form is the same name as the original with "super" on the end like Sonic Super. The super for will automatically be uploaded.

You don't need game maker to play the game but you need game maker pro to use the engine.

Yeah. Everything has to match. It only allow you to change to look of the character not the abilities.

For Sonic you will need to your sprite and a text file with the width and height in it. Make sure they have the same name. For super sonic you will need your original character and its super form along with a text file with the width and height in it as well. Make sure that you have "super" in your super characters name like "Char Super".

There is no way could make it where you can extend the frames because the codes for the animations are pre-writing into Game Maker. All I can do is allow you swap the sprites. And you can use any version of game maker as long as it has a sprite editor.

Im adding an update with all characters editable right now (except Hyper Sonic Because he's uses 5 different sprites animations). Its going to take a while to add a help file for each character tho.
