  • Did anybody else get completely caught up in the strangest BT infinity house mate advert at the beginning you forgot why you came here? :-/

  • @spritsengiggle now i want to find one and keep giving it fruit to see if it will allow me to become its friend, then take it home and continue feeding it until it dies.

  • 0:23 - 0:52 So cute xD

  • NOPE NOPE NOPE

  • is tht ant in the begining being attacked haha??

  • imagine the feeling of satisfaction of stamping on one of those things, the world is now a safer place

  • @FightersOfEve this world is never gonna be safe as long as humans are still alive as the human race is the most dangerous species on earth ..

    ps: i'm not a human i'm a shark !!!

  • @FightersOfEve You couldn't crack it's shell. Your foot is too soft. Also; You would make it angry, it would latch onto your foot, and then it would indiscriminately start to dissect you foot with it's claws. No, I'm not kidding, I'm being realistic, lol! :D However, if you hand it some fruit,it would probably think you are cool.:)

  • life span comparable to humans?

  • Their antennas acts as their nose?

  • 3:54 Air drumming!

  • @HomebrandMusic01 Dang....he beats us all at Air Guitar. D:

  • @Blueoriontiger Yes, He's already make fun of the crab in almost the same way. But I'm sure you want thumbs up too, right?. Ok, I'll give you one hoping it make your life less painful.

  • Giant Enemy Crab!

  • @iOnlySignIn Attack its weakpoint for massive damage

  • Good work on this video. Very educational.

  • Maybe its just me, but I think these crabs are cute. I wouldn't mind having one as a pet.

  • @NamoNakamura You're not the only one! They r so cute^^

  • Kinda makes ya wanna go crab hunting with sledge hammers eh?

  • soo.. umm... how do they fuck?

  • @Immaculite They don't or else the'll get crabs

  • That was cool.

I used to catch and watch hermit crabs when I was younger. Its true they hardly do anything, but they were fascinating to me.

  • 3:25 looks like a mans face...scary

  • I'm getting this for my birthday. My smaller Purple Pinchers are gonna be like WTF

  • Hermit crabs make good pets. There easy to take care of.

  • dont make fun of the crabs! there so cute!! :P i wanna hug one.

  • wow this is unbelievably beautiful video!!! I'm blown away. Just amazing. The sharpness, the color, contrast, style, everything. Wow.

  • This is a great video! Really enjoyed it!!

  • THAT is NOT a fukkin "COCOANUT CRAB".ASSHOLE!!!

  • @111fishkiller watch the whole vid.

  • @111fishkiller Did u watch the whole video? if so than I would doubt your intelligence being high enough to call other people assholes.

  • @111fishkiller wow...someone needs to attend some anger management classes. Take a deep breath man. inhale....and.....exhale. Now, now, it's just a video about crabs....and yes, you are right...it's not a "cocoanut crab"....it's a "coconut crab". You know the little red lines that appear under some of the words you type....it's called automatic spell check. It's there for you, buddy. Use it.

  • @111fishkiller Yeah... it is, and your lack of any sense of proper grammar makes me really depressed that you try to act smart. watch the whole video before you try and posture and pretend dominance.

  • it's not....evolution

  • @bluliite You bait fights much? How bout this. When the giant, conspicuously absent, invisible, bearded man shows up. Then I might believe you.

  • so hermits grow into cocnut crabs

  • @sailor5687: no. but we could say coconut crabs spend their youth as hermit crabs as long as they could find a shell big enough to contain them.

  • @ardatek o so certain specious do because i knwo my hermies wont be coconut crabs i hope those things are jumbo

  • @sailor5687 no just the juvinille coconut crabs use the shells... not all hermits

  • This is amazing stuff! Really nicely done Earthtouch! Subscribing! 5*

  • Wow, I've never seen a hermit actually get INTO a shell, COOL!!

  • Correction: the purple big guys in the video (@ 2:34) is not a juvenile coconut crab, but a species of land hermit crab named Coenobita brevimanus ( Indonesian purple-pincer or simple called "indos" ). And both of the hermit crabs are fully grown (adult), not juvenile.

  • @ 3:08 is the real coconut crab ( Birgus latro - perhaps it's a young one ) with nice coloration. Thanks for sharing !

  • Ps: it's also incorrect that coconut crab is simply a hermit crab. Birgus latro or coconut crab is a completely different species from the "real" hermit crabs. They have different anatomy & only inhabit shells for around 2 years and start to live naked without shell when their body reaches the size of 1 cm long and the chitinous abdomen has been hardened.

  • i like how the hermit crab enters the shell.:)

  • thank you very much your vids are inspiring!!! What kind of camera outfit are you guys using? Just curious the vids are really amazing quality!!!

  • Hi there, apologies for not replying sooner. This vid was shot using the Sony EX3, I really like this camera. It is well thought out and simple to use. The picture quality competes with the very top end cameras. And removing the media from it by simply inserting the card into your laptop has made my life a lot easier! I hope you keep enjoying the clips!

  • this is amazing !!

  • thank you Earth-touch for this awesome video! I wish I could see one of these in the wild, with my own eyes.

  • i miss 1080p hd :(

  • Successful adaptation. And our actions can annihilate these wonders.
