The 7 Series IS amazing, but just because it is a BMW, and BMW's have been, for the most part of the late XX and early XXI centuries, engineering masterpieces. I own very humble BMW's: an old 1977 323i E21 and a 2000 328Ci and still can tell...

And yes, I've been inside the penultimate and latest 7 series, though I haven't driven either (I'm sure they drive well)...

The Tribeca wasn't in my opinion that outrageously ugly, it was just too far out there, with the years passing it's even starting to make some sense, look at it.

I think the Crossfire Concept was brilliant, but Mercedes just didn't bother to spend enough to make it. What came out is, true, hideous.

Come on, the Multipla was bold!

I TOTALLY agree with Actyon (tho it was a nice, bold try); Roomster, Kyron, Opirus, Rodius, MG SV, Cayenne, SC 430, AZTEK! (WTF!), Hyundai Coupé, Scorpio

I hate to disagree again, I think the AMC Pacer is a classic in car design, it may be abnormal but it is well proportioned and soooo distinct. It has such a strong identity, just by looking at it you know it's an American compact, it looks like nothing else. It is a different matter if mechanically it was a disgrace.

In general I have the impression rather than the "ugliest" you've chosen the "least conservative, modest looking"...

Sorry, the Biturbo, Spyder and later Ghibli (same basic car) were, true, not particularly beautiful cars, but they were quite passable to drive and are certainly not the ugliest ever made. Look at them, they look too normal, true, they might as well have a Chevy badge but they are not the ugliest cars ever.

Besides they basically kept Maserati alive so it is a bit unthankful to bash them (I don't care what Clarkson says or does to be outrageous)
