hey man just got the gateway fx 6860 little bit different but im wondering could i put in an 850 watt powersupply and amd 6950 video card and it would still run fine? PLEASE REPLY TY
PLEASE ANSWER BACK!!! Can I upgrade the video card and processor on this? i want to buy a Nvidia GTX 570 and an Intel Core i7-870 for it, i just want to know if it'll work :D nice vid BTW
I got an FX not sure if its the exact same model but I have had it for like 5 months and I just found out there is no digital or analog audio outputs....... so you can't use any good Tritton or Logitech surround sound gaming headsets in true 5.1 surround sound unless you either change your sound card, buy an external one, hooking them up any other way will not be true 5.1........ so that really blows
@strongarmeric it most likely is the same because I got mine around Christmas. I think I'm just gunna buy a new motherboard for it soon so I can overclock and have a better sound card and such.
@TheRedMoonProject Nice! I just ordered a fan control panel and a wireless networking card. Once I install it I'll do a review on both of those or an unboxing.
Thats freaking sweet. We just bought the Gateway fx6840-15E with the i7 870 2.93 ghz and the Raeon graphics chip. i bought it for game development. :]
The quick copy from what i was told by a geek squad memeber copies all of the card information with just a push of that button. So any SD memory or usb stick you place in the slot gets copied to the harddrive.

@TheRedMoonProject Yeah you can set specific task to quick copy stuff to certain locations or vice versa. I haven't really tried it out yet.
