@Fender1976uk Cause that's what it's all about, guitar solo's... it's worship man, not a secular rock concert. Moreover, when you study their music from the late 90's till now, you'll hear a clear evolution to the current sound and it's quite blessed by the Lord. Maybe in the future they develop something new, who knows? And even if they don't, the impact they already had, have and will have on many believer's lives is enormous. God bless them more and more.

And just doing your research, Jesus did not go in all guns blazing, he was the son of God, i mean he could have forced the ppl to believe in him and cower at his power but no, he told them about love and gave up his life, for us. So yes it's hard but you are the Christ that they see, so you have to be the vessel that the holy spirit shines thru u know? Stay blessed.

I was recently mad at God for something. I'm not mad at him anymore, and I want to go back to trusting and loving him again like I use to... but there seems to be a lot blocking my path. And I'm not sure what to do besides prayer and at this point, am I still suppose to be reaching out to people and stuff? Part of me thinks its very hypocritical to do so...

Well they haven't really backed up, Darlene appeared alot in the album of This is Our God, Marty had most appearances in Mighty to Save, and Saviour King Allbum, while Jill McCloughry, Joel Houston, Brooke Fraser had less singing of other Albums and they wanted to participate more in this one, so nobody hasn't really backed up yet, it's sord of like, taking turns, but don't worry you'll see more of Darlene, Marty, Miriam etc.

I miss the old Hillsong style - the typical live worship led by Darlene Zschech with choir in the background. Through the years I've noticed that their sound has changed to contemporary style. Maybe that's part of their evolution or that's where they are led by the Holy Spirit. What's important is that their songs are giving glory to Jesus.
