  • pow, right in the kisser

  • be sure you squat on the downward motion or you gonna have a pretty heavy impact to your crotch.

  • dont let go.. oops

  • This video is a poorly performed swing, as you can see he is not doing a swing at all but lifting the dumbbell from a low point to above his head. When done properly this exercise is great so don't letter "experts" like this deter you from trying out this exercise and other great ones similar to it. Look at Steve Maxwell's or Steve Cotter's and see how a proper kettlebell swing is performed and then apply it with a dumbbell. There are some decent dumbbell swing videos as well.

  • does weightlifting make you small

im 15 now should i be really lifting or is it bad 4 me ? please reply if you know .

  • @sEaNiiBoY2K9 you should start weightlifting when you are almost finished growing, wich mostly means around 16 years, lifting will not make you skinny, you will gain muscles and therefore gain weight if you follow a good schedule

  • this is retarded....you shouldn't swing like this

  • y does this expert village video work and all the other ones dont work?

  • You can also use a weight plate to work both arms at once. Also prevents twisting your back when you start using heavier weights

  • THNX

  • will this increase vertical jump?

  • you want to do calf raises and real squats for that

  • waaaaaaaaaayyyyy too much squat, not enough hips

  • definitely!! Not enough glute activation!

  • exactly. this is why heavy kettlebell swings are vastly superior.

  • Actually, i did this workout the other day. My back is ache'ing. Yes i used a heavy dumbell. Point is, it doesnt work your glutes fine, but it works your legs, your back, your arms, and ive noticed a great improvement in lean muscle. This is the best workout position i could ever do, and no im not an advertisement lol.

  • point is, this is "expert village", and an 'expertly' executed swing is nothing like this.

and i would even go so far to say that this kind of improper execution could lead to injury down the line, especially when using heavier weights.

  • maybe not safe, but we are animals. Its my duty to put myself in dumb positions to get lean. Ive been working out for nearly a year anyway, im already fit, im less likely to injur myself unless i do sumthin dumb. dum dum dummmmmm

  • haha i was thinking the same thing about the balls haha

  • lol...it would be funny if he got hit on his balls lol!

  • watch for em mc nuggets

  • very good exercise

  • dude define fit

  • I guess he wanted to see visible muscles through baggy workout clothing?

  • @Ultraviolins LOL, seeing a guy with rippling muscles doing exercise makes me think of those anorectic girls advertising fitness clubs. A man dressed like this makes the workout more credible to me, as if he were saying 'gotta see if it works for yourself''
