Besides that, this is meant to show basically a rookie Bond, making all those "rookie" mistakes. The most notable would have to be blowing up an embassy (can you say "foreign relations nightmare"?).

The movie was good, just not as good as its supposed to be.. It felt very rushed as it had a very short runtime.. The movie would have presented itself better if it had a longer runtime without the feeling of the plot being rushed...

To me Lazendby was not so bad. He had the problem to be "the second", when no1 could still understand that Sean Connery couldn't have been oo7 forever. :)

And, considering just the plot (and musics) "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" is one of the best JB films of the whole saga. :)

pierce brosnans bond films were great escapism. Daniel craig to me is difinitively james bond. The realistic take is much better, it show you what you would actually see with your own eyes not a computer.

theres no over the top reaction or cliche's. You can really see  theres something underneath the ego of bond. Peirces bond is more get up and go in a set world. Daniels bond is fixed in a reality. showing human perspective camera shots rather then tailored for the audience to go wow.

It has been mentioned in a number of newspapers this week that Duffy is a "cert" to sing the theme tune to Bond! Although she has a superb voice and would definitely be the correct choice!!! You just get that sneaky feeling that she is just simply being used by the Bond publicity machine and at the last second will choose someone else? What a cruel, and merciless think to do, to such a wonderful talent as Duffy!!!

LOVE THIS. to me, at least, it seemed in the books that Bond was thought of more as a blunt instrument rather than a precise surgical tool. and you notice with daniel craig's bond that 007 makes mistakes every so often and has real emotional capital invested in the people he saves/fails to save. plus he only seduces one woman and that was to get information. not like that one time when Brosnan's Bond tups the M16 female doctor. it's like Bond was reduced to this man whore/killer type guy.

In relation to this video it seems the storyline is being repeated from die another day. Think about it bond is on the run (well sort of) and M secretly helps him even though she doesn't want to. Die another day marked the end of pierce's career, it may be the end of Daniel's.
