@Generikson I'm actually glad that they're not playing the same stuff, i'm sure you can't ever make something like TOTBL or antics or even OLTA - those we're made, and not they are just evolving not only as people but as musicians and as interpol as a whole,

Every album has a different emotion and expression, i love them all honestly.

Have you gotten a hold of "Gavilan" yet ieo18? Rumor is that it's actually an instrumental version of Mascara/Cubed, and that it was the recording that didn't make it to the final cut of Antics.

I will miss Carlos D. forever...it my by not popular opinion but I hope they will keep doing music by theirselves...it's so sad but to me Interpol ends with this album

@Generikson it's not like they had to make the same records forever, I liked OLTA and the new album has some good song (Lights, Barricade, The undoing and I like Crimewaves too) but it won't be Interpol anymore. They always said it's the chemistry between them four that made their music special, I do believe Carlos' contribution was fundamental and irreplaceable, whoever denies it now that he's gone is an idiot.

@girlsix79 Well., you´re right, Carlos´ contribution was fundamental, i like this new album, i really do, i can´t stop thinking the future of my favorite band, the music because I love them has gone. now, my favorite songs of this new album are Summer well, barricade, lights, Success, memory serves, and safe without. as you had said, this album isn´t bad, but there was betters.

I really hope this isn't Interpol's last album, I know that Paul has Julian Plenti, Sam has Magnetic Morning, and well Daniel is really good at what he does and I'm sure he could form another band or whatever... but still, Interpol is like the best band ever and I would love to be hearing Interpol do what they do best 10 years from now... ya' know?
