You should have got in there while it was still around. Great fun to bust up all the old shit in there!

What an excellent bit of filming. I agree with the comments that it was just left to fall into decay. It could of been made onto something else surely. I don't think I would like to have seen it as a childrens hospital....perhaps something else.....

Found it very sad, but want to know more, as my gran was taken there in 1932 and died in there 9 years after. She never got to go home.Sadley i never met her,but would love to go to cane hill, just to see where she once was..................Kat

Cane Hill has now been demolished. :( It was a very sad place with isolation wards and alot of history was kept in there till its last days! In some ways its sad to see it go but in others, its good its gone as too much bad history was set in them walls! R.I.P Cane Hill

This is an excellent video, and speaking from first hand experience, think it portrays the atmosphere that Cane Hill used to have very well.

It's such a shame it was a wonderfull building so sad to see it go i can remember when me and my mates first went to exsplore it. This is one of those places i will never forget. ;-)

We had a look recently, but didn't go in as they have taken out all the corridors. You can't get between buildings, except in the open. Easy pickings for security. A pity because there is still quite a lot of stuff that can be smashed in the wards.

Expect the wards to be gone in a few months time.

This place was really great for smashing things up. Our urbex group has smashed a pile of stuff there. Some of the floor were so rotten you could crash things through to the ward below. We smashed up old sinks and toilets too.

It's being demolished now though. The admin block and chapel will be saved I believe.
