Me and a few guys hooked up this last night only to become bored as hell. We didn't even complete the demo before a friend just have enough. I'm a big fan of shooters but this just felt repetitive and surely yes boredom hit me and another friend that stayed on for a little longer to give it a chance. In comparison to other games as far as the demo goes, think of Deus Ex with better graphics and a bit cleaner atmosphere. More guns, guns are upgradable. Better leveling up. And all with multiplayer. Reason why this game is the shit: I feel exactly the same way when I'm playing the game as I expect to when I'm watching the trailer. (like a killer on robot ecstasy)

Tired of people thinking they know games. If you're reading this comment and you think this game will suck, I promise you, you will eat your words. Just the demo shows how generous the developers are. Online demo AND they let you level up ten times, and upgrade every weapon, all for free. The graphics are incredibly clean and refreshing. Controls are a little different, but customizable. And basically anything you do in the game makes you feel like a really unique super badass.

Syndicate really is something fresh for the FPS genre (even though theres nothing wrong with the FPS formula to be honest). Can't wait. I've been waiting for a long time for this reboot. With Morgan writing it, I have high hopes, but it looks like they trashed the strategy aspect completely. That would suck, since it would just be a sci-fi skin of just another FPS.

@solidstatemind Strategy is a NECESSITY in co-op, even on normal difficulty. Get a squad of lunatics running around, and no matter how good each one is at the shooting aspects, they WILL get shredded by the AI. Working together is CRITICAL. You simply CAN'T get anywhere without playing as a team.

@wampawampa Naw, man. It's pretty different from what I can tell. It's not really attachments so much as it is upgrades. It's more for the stats of the gun than for the looks. (damage, recoil, accuracy, fire rate) And as far as the perks go, it's more like leveling up in an rpg. Every level you get, you get a point, then you spend the point on an upgrade for your guy, which can vary from running speed to a personal shield or health boost or an extra app. Don't be so cynical and try out the demo.
