@surfer53 i know its threee montha ago you typed this but totally agree with you, and seeing that again i think Simon was very happy he said that and i think he took it as a compliment, i know its "just a movie" but for a movie and characters to be great you have to put youself in the position they find themselves and that scene is just awe inspiring
Why don't you like that statement? It fits his character perfectly. He's a racist, sexist, homophobic, rude, obsessive compulsive. It's hilarious in the context of the movie. One of Nicholson's best performances.
I would be offended if I was in the room listening to Jack 2 insults for every 1 compliment . He can't help himself....that's sick in the head!

This is one class movie.
Great acting,, great direction, great story, great screenplay, fantastic characters, good lighting.. all around a class film.
