does the cetaphil moisturizering cream have any oil, cuz my moisturizer is extremely oily and i need an oil free one, thnx, also i love cetaphil face wash need 2 buy some more!
@ForeverPink67 I use the cetaphil moisturizing cream too and I'm pretty sure that it's oil free but I'm not positive about that. I don't find it oily or anything though ^^
i've used cetaphil for over a year.. and i don't mind it, but sometimes i feel like my face isn't 100% clean afterwards. do you ever have that feeling?
are your arms just dry or do you have keratosis pilaris? i do and my regular doctor said ill grow out of it but i cant wait that long lol so i need to find a fix
@MsAnt17 yea i'm not using it right now either. haha my skin just varies and you kind of have to make judgement calls based on how your skin fluctuates. sometimes i honestly wish i had dry skin haha then it would be easier??
haha, i actually agree with you right now. Retin A micro is definitely too harsh for my sensitive winter skin. You should try it in a different season or maybe (hopefully not) it just doesn't work for you :( If you want, you can watch my winter skin care routine video and maybe that will help??
oh by the way, those bumps are actually a really common skin disease called keratosis pilaris I believe... I have it, too. I bought this stuff at Sephora called KP duty cream and it gets rid of it, completely. only problem is its soooo expensive
if you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for retin a micro? i used to buy it but my dad said the price went way up, to around 200 dollars a tube! i am trying to find out how/where to get it cheap because it really does work
sorry for not replying in ages! your dad is right, Retin-A micro is pretty pricey and can be several hundreds, however my health care plan covers a lot of the cost so I believe it was only around $25?? and i still have sooo much left and i got it during the summer. So one tube lasts a REALLY long time!
lol thats okay about not replying. i actually got it already, and have been using it for about two months (it cost me 80$). for some reason it made me break out really bad. i mean REALLY bad....like worse then i have ever seen on anybody and certainly way worse then my acne has ever been.....i duno! this is really weird i am 19 now so my acne should be going away....i am stickin with the retin a because i heard that some people get an "initial" breakout but this is so weird.
Hmm, it may also be the type of Retin-A that you are using. I think there are different types...Hah I'm seriously considering doing a video post about Retin-A because I've gotten a lot of questions about it. And if you've been using it for the winter time, I pretty much guaranty you will break out because I started breaking out too come winter because of the harshness. I have a new upload for my current routine so hopefully that will help!
you bring up a good point about the winter time. i think that the cold weather definitely doesn't help; it contributes to the dryness and itchyness factors a lot. i didn't think about it making the break out worse though. i will have to ask my derm about it...too bad i have to wait a month for an appointment! lol i will check out your new upload!
devastation! :( honestly on the tyra show (haha she is sooo flippen crazy but it can be quite an entertaining show) a dermatologist recommended it for people with youthful skin in terms of cleansing, but this makes me sad :(
i have that arm thing too...it has a name (i forget) but yeah supposedly 60% of the population have it or somethin...it's really annoying though i feel you! =)
I'm pretty sure I understand what you're talking about, and it's called keratosis pilaris. It's basically just small red bumps on your skin, usually on your arms and thighs. It is heraditary and much of the population has it and doesn't even know it! There is no cure for it, but there are treatments. Keep in mind treatments do not prevent it from coming back! Make sure to exfoliate your affected areas everyday with a moisturizing body wash and a buff-puff or loofa.
oh yeah that's what it's called! I do exfoliate in the shower and i use olive oil , but my case of this has always been a bit more severe than most so i pretty much just have to cope... :]
Oh olive oil sounds like a really good idea for moisturizing :) How well does it work? & don't worry, I'm sure you'll find a method to treat it :) It just takes time to find the right products. If it makes you feel better, you're not alone! :) I'm suffer from it too :(
tell me about it... Yeah olive oil works GREAT for pretty much anything > I use it to remove makeup , to moisturize , even to get stuff off my skin that won't come off otherwise like those little tatoos you get in gum wrappers and stuff. But yeah no matter what product i try i usually go back to that , it works so well and it's organic so... :)
yes it does help ALOT. AND its cheap. Also what i like to do is use these shower gloves , they are like ves but are kinda scratchy you can use them to exfoliate in the shower , and they work amazing and get rid of alot of the bumps! A good thing is to also put the olive oil on while you are in the shower , and after towel drying using a bit more if you think it would help. And no problem! I love to help other ppl who have had the same problems as me :)
No I do not experience peeling or dryness...yet! The thing is, is that I live in a climate that gets drastically colder in the winter so I'm going to see how that goes. But thus far I've been using this for over a month and my skin has been better than it ever has been, with a minor break out or two that doesn't last long. However I am really impressed by the fact that the retin-a has not been harsh to me and I do not use moisturizer with it. Thanks for for watching and feel free to ask away!
yes it actually does, but it really depends on the amount of activity. in terms of coverage and the amount that you have to use per use, it is pretty good. it lasts for quite a long bit if you're not rubbing your eyes and when it fades, it fades quite naturally so sometimes i can't tell that it's faded unless i haven't gotten a lot of sleep. definitely is not waterproof and if you prefer more natural make-up, this concealer is inexpensive and the way to go! hope you found this helpful!
Your teeth are soooo white! LOVE(:

trust me...having dry skin is not easy. your skin peels and you can sometimes tell that you're wearing makeup because your face is so dry.
