I used to blindly support the Shah too. However, I finally opened my eyes and saw him for what he was, a dictator. Unfortunetly, Iranians have always been a nation of followers who need someone to worship. This is apparent in the fact that we have been ruled by kings throughout our history and now are being led by dirty mullahs. God willing, we will soon finally make the transition to democracy. Maybe then the oil revenues will be divided between the people rather than a king or supreme leader.
