  • Well, that's what happens when you create a dogma on a person. It's kind of a religion.

  • random guy murdered or shot dead given small media coverage: nah no fucks given sorry

royal family member who they have never met dies: NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

  • How annoying that the interviewer narrates over Hitch's response to that guy, and essentially defends the guy being an idiot while she does so.

  • Hitchens is THE BOSS!

  • "I shouldn't be in these gardens, WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?! I think you're about as smart as you look"

HAHAHAHA. That was classic Hitchslap, why couldnt the cancer of eaten William Lane Craig alive instead, we need Hitchens back.

  • @JaydeeOldBoy Cancer is not a thing to wish upon anyone, regardless of their philosophies. Just remember what Hitchens stood for...anti-totalitarianism and morals.

  • @JaydeeOldBoy HA! I think I enjoyed this comment a bit too much.

  • @JaydeeOldBoy Guilty pleasure.

  • hitchens will be remembered for his antichrist agenda, he stepped on everyone that did not agree with him.

  • What a legend.

  • Is there perhaps any more of this interview?

  • I love this clip. Shows Great Britain for what t was when Diana was killed. A crazy crazy place to be..

  • Comment removed

  • I love you Hitch! Always will. Standing up to morons.

  • AHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAH

  • Compare the mourners of Lady Diana to the mourners of Kim Jong Il, and the former come off as more ridiculous. North Koreans had a rational reason to mourn: survival! Either they expressed grief, or they starved in a labour camp. In comparison, Brits had no such rational reason to mourn Lady Di, as Hitch hints at in this clip.

  • Fuck I love this man.

  • It should be mandatory for every news company to release any archived footage of Hitch, I need something to rhythmically masturbate to, and his voice does it for me.

  • Kate Middleton created two accounts to dislike this

  • Apologist for war crimes and a fucking hypercrit! Fucking middle class leftists! What a sell out! An arse licker of the powerful!

  • R.I.P. good man, the world has lost a free thinker and is left with brainless numties, such as this bloke.

  • lulz

  • "Who the hell are you?!" Hahaha, classic Hitch. I miss him dearly.

  • hey there. ya dont like the good music do ya? oh cmon then check my channel out be sure to let your ears "gasm" all over.

  • I shall miss hitch's debating skills, but this was just an unneccessary asshole move of him

  • @erniehudson1 I respect your comment, I can see how people would be offended

However, sometimes you need to be blunt to shake people out of their complacency

That guy saying Christopher had ''no right'' to be in a ''public place!'' was out of order

If you are old enough to remember the nonsense that was the Princess Diana mourners in 1997, you will understand why he used the phrase ''brain rot''

It was completely pathetic that they would quit their jobs and cry over someone they never knew

  • @ec123456789able yes, I can see the problem with the hysteria. but somehow I'm worried that maybe one of diana's relatives might watch TV in order to say to themself "at least she made a positive impact on people - look at all the people missing her." and then suddenly there sits hitch ... I know it is not so likely but I think it is natural to have a queezy feeling about critizising people's respond to death even if they haven't known her.

  • I understand him making a statement about something he feels strongly about, he's just being straight up rude and nasty.

Until he died, I never even heard his name before. The royal wedding made more of an impact on my life than he ever did. And that's saying a lot. :\

  • @heartsthatbleed87 Says a lot about what? The opposite is true for a large number of people.

  • @heartsthatbleed87 - Yes, it does say quite a lot about you.

  • @SheChoosesReason That doesn't even make sense. Nice try though!

  • @heartsthatbleed87 I believe that person's point is that if a wedding, of which was unassociated with you, made more of an impact on your life than the great written and spoken words of Hitchens, then you are truly pathetic or at least unfortunate.

  • @craigdavid00 Whoa, whoa, whoa! What's with all the hate?! "Great written and spoken words"? He's just being a twat to anyone who disagrees with him.

  • @heartsthatbleed87 It's not hate. Merely pity. This video is not in any way representative of the body of his work which I encourage you to delve into (i.e. his formal debates, essays, ect). This video is more like an isolated incident of one of his a cranky mornings.

  • @craigdavid00 Don't need your pity. Maybe my first impression of this guy wasn't the best one, but it's the one that's going to stand out in my mind. And unfortunately, it was an extremely negative one.

  • @heartsthatbleed87 Once you see some of the exchanges he makes with people and come to familiarize yourself with his character, you'll come to understand that he's merely being a bit of a jerk at an attempt to make some humor in bad taste. He's not being serious in those instances is my point.

  • @heartsthatbleed87 "The royal wedding made more of an impact on my life than he ever did."

And "Until he died, I never even heard his name before"

... Those sentences make me feel sorry for you. What a boring life you must lead.

  • @seansalvador1 Yes, the royal wedding meant nothing to me, yet still made more of an impact than this guy. LET IT GO.

Don't feel sorry for me because I can't "appreciate" this guy being an asshole about Di's death.

  • @heartsthatbleed87 You're not too bright, are you. He wasnt 'being an asshole about her death,' he was pointing out that people are morons who suck up to royalty and put them on a pedestal, which is completely idiotic. Diana was just another human, nothing special, she was just pretty, so fucking what?? That was his point. People are stupid for worshipping other people. They wish to be slaves, instead of thinking for themselves. You slave.

  • @MrTruthAddict I'm not too bright? I was saying he was being a prick...because he WAS! And who said I worshiped other people? Not me!

Look at you, putting this retard on a pedestal. Piss off.

  • @heartsthatbleed87 Oh dear, you pathetic moron. "You see what brainrot does to these people" and "your about as smart as you look"

I think Hitch summed you up neatly there!

  • Hitchslapped! Lol

  • Brain rot? Haha this man is well equiped in word warfare!

  • Why did she feel the need to fade him out and make us listen to her voiceover?

  • R.I.P

  • My hero is dead

  • LMFAO... you gotta love Hitchens.... who the HELL are you? hahaha

  • Dianna and Hitchens where people of fame...

What's important, is what they did with it... And as much as you hate one or the other, they shared a common foe, they both fought against the status quo.

  • Nice one Hitch,

  • Christopher Hitchens was far more of an inspiration than Princess Dianna.

His death has hit me more than I ever thought it would.

The Royal Family is a load of shit too. Just a bunch of glorified welfare claimants. I would sooner live in a republic if it was put to a vote.

  • @ec123456789able how do you figure this? atheists make up less than 14% of the planets population. Dianna made a HUGE impact in Africa for her humanitarian work and not to mention her other works over seas. Hitchen's has a marginal following of people who like his abrasive style. Dianna will be remembered far longer and for far better reasons than Hitchen's ever will be.

  • @weazz I never said she hasn't inspired people, I am saying that Hitchens is more inspiring to ''me personally''.

Diana did a lot of humanitarian work but listening to her speak is not as inspirational as listening to Hitchens, She didn't change the way I think like Hitchens, She didn't teach me anything like Hitchens, and she married into the establishment, whereas Hitchens is a vocal critic of the establishment.

I know she was cheated by the establishment, but she was part of it nonetheless.

  • @ec123456789able Hitchens is just as big a part of the establishment as Di was. He's in a great position where he can speak out against it, but make no mistake. He's still part of the establishment. On the fringe edges yes, but that's a whole other discussion.

  • Awsome

  • The Hitchslap!!

  • lol telling it like it is. RIP Hitch.

  • Anonymous- #OperationDownWithTheRoyalFamilyInMemoryOfHitch

  • Hitch! Love it! Keep the videos coming!

  • Royalty = bullshit

  • Hitchens told it like it was, wasn`t afraid of not being PC. He was a fucking honest guy. The world needs more people that are like he was.

  • To the people that applaud the death of Hitchens, you too will share his fate, death is the great equalizer.

  • @TheWolowiz May Hitchens have mercy on your God
