  • that keyboard gets me high man!

  • If you say anything bad about Zep, You should be Euthanised because you just don't get it!

  • @SqueezeMyLemonBabe thank you so much for putting this on YouTube

I thought there was no live recording of this song

  • I HOPE THIS IS NOT BOOTLEG. THEY DON'T DESERVE THAT. I MEAN, 4 REAL...

  • my soul and body cries for this man and his wife could only imagine

  • Of all the members of the band, Robert suffered the most @ the end. Losing a son and a childhood friend (Bonzo). Even though the others did suffer as well. Robert was a wonderful father, and is a wonderful man. This is my favorite Zeppelin song, because my heart truly goes out to Robert whenever hear it.

  • Everything Zeppelin did was simply amazing. This song of love dedicated to his son. Amazing.. The cup is raised , a toast is made yet again. One voice is clear above the din. They influenced my whole 50 Y/O life from 14 on. Seen them at Oakland in 77. My sister won the tickets on the radio. She being 14 . I think I still owe her after all these years. Plant solo/82? Oakland arena/Page solo/Oakland arena90? Page/Plant Shoreline amphitheater. And I will see Robert Plant April 22. God bless

  • Even when Page is playing in "minimalist" fashion he's freaking brilliant!!

  • Man, powerful song. Made me tear up just seeing that picture and listening to the lyrics, reminds me of my mom's passing.. But great song, love Zep.

  • @jjbbaman Amen brother.

  • @jjbbaman damn right

  • Robert Plant wrote this song in memory of his son Karac Pendragon who died tragicaly at 6 years old. God Bless his soul. He was beautiful just like all of Robert's children.

  • oh God!! pleae somebody writes what he says because me too, I always believed it was about Karac! Please someone write what he's talking.

"he was a friend of we meet on our flit moments..now unfortunaly hes not with us anymore..." I can't understand all the parts...

and so is it about who!?? well i guess the song is from Karac. but the concert the moment he was singing, he did to these one person...

  • I'm glad I found this. I always loved this song, but it was years before I learned that it was about Karac. I don't know that it was done live that often, perhaps because it was too deeply personal for Plant.

  • RIP Karac Plant

  • Page if off his nut on something and can barely play

  • What a beautiful song. I never really noticed this as such a wonderful song until now, this sound so beautiful, like magic.

  • dont like those who dont like in through the out door, the creativity and virtuosocity (i made up that word) is shown on every album. who knew that it would all be over soon, the love for the music is still in that album as it was in the first, and who knows how many more classic albums could've came after....

  • This is so beautiful and so emotional song that touches directly to the heart. Robert Plant is a legend that never tarnishes.

  • ungratefull shallow fake zep fan , go fuck off and listen to u2 ,, thats all you cunts deserve ,,

  • @TexasMist

I'm just curios, but I think Darlene is their worst song< Your opinion??

  • @tamawashi76 Dude Darlene is a dirty song

  • @TexasMist

just curios, but do you like darlene more

  • @TexasMist unfortunately you're retarded

  • haha jimmy at 0:18

  • @jjbbaman I agree, thumbs up. JPJ keyboards showed his musical abilities on this album.

JPJ was a full quarter of Led Zeppelin. Just like you can say about any of them,

there would be no Led without JPJ.

  • I like it, but JPJ wrote this and most of the songs on "In through the out door" because Jimmy was there increasingly less as his addiction to heroine intensified.

  • Led Zeppelin are masters.

  • @jjbbaman ..dear me, where do you get those lovely names from, luv?

  • love the guitar in the chorus, unbelievable drumming and in particular the keys and vocals. A beautiful song.

  • the magic of ZEPPELIN.

  • Zeppelin in their prime was and alwayswill be the best thing that ever happened to music, period!

  • @nat00ben06 YES

  • true LEGENDS !!!! ZEP

  • I love Zep, but "In Through the Out Door" sucked compared to the rest of their work. It signaled the end of an era, and was and still is overrated. It flung wide open the door for punk to take over, and it sounded the death knell over what metal should have become. R.I.P.

  • @mknomad5 too bad things didn't happen more to your liking, huh?

  • @iggy082 yep it is too bad bcuz punk is musically inferior to metal by all common standards of what music ought be comprised, given that one possesses a basic clue of aesthetics.

  • yeaaaa todo un clasico de los 80

  • thx squeezemylemonbabe. Brilliant.

  • plants voice is fantastic in this live version...

  • What a awhsome picture.

  • Page has to be using the B bender on this right? Man this is awesome, thanks for posting this.

  • you can add: it was recorded in Frankfurt 30/06/1980*

  • @nOOstab would have loved to see it live.

  • Check out maaa band :)

  • 102 retard i call you. How do you not like a song about his son who died. Hence my name. Don't post about Zep if you dont know what the fuck you are talking about.

  • you know i think its IMPOSSIBLE for led zeppelin to make a bad song because so far they havent!

  • Has all my love been released yet on a live album? if not it should be! as well as good times bad times!

  • Comment removed

  • @102ledzepfan, youre wrong it was actually dedicated to a bar owner called Cooky, look it up.

  • @Lukestar1991 wrong.

  • @levyelizabeth erm, no.. I think that if you look it up, then you will find that the answer was # yes # and not no, as you so bluntly put it..

  • @Lukestar1991 WRONG! look up all my love on wikipedia.

  • @Lukestar1991 fag

  • It reminds me of my ex wife and our son. I forever love this song. But it gets me down thinking how things should of been.

  • @007rkb I got that same problem with Thru with the two step-

Plant solo. It was an "our song" kinda deal. Sucks.

  • es la mejor musica de los 70

  • Fuck the music in the present. Led zeppelinn are gods gods of real music

  • grazie cri...è meravigliosa anche l'immagine...la vera musica...

  • takes me back to 1982 when i found led zep.such a different world.

  • Amazing,thank you...whom ever posted this!

  • Przepiękne wykonanie.... Takie wzniosłe

Solemn, beautiful, and so sad... It always makes me cry.. This, and "I believe". Poor Robert:( I'm so sorry for him.. Such a bereavement... :((

  • @Malgosita why sorry.?

  • His little son died in 77', didn't you know? This song was for him...

  • Wonder how the song would sound with a real orchestra? Anyways it's still a beautiful piece written by Robert Plant and John Paul Jones...

The guitar phrasing was written by JPJ not Page. Just to let people know, but it was played by Page, but not originated from him.

  • @LinkBulletBill emerald eyes

  • Sounds better played live.

  • Oh Yeah Baby!!

  • Nothing compares to Led Zepp....

  • Wychowalem sie w czasach aktywnosci Led Zep...

Nie znam lepszego zespolu "tamtycz´h" czasow

  • O solo de teclado, na gravação de estudio é feito por Jimmy Page?

  • I wish they had played this at knebworth 1979 so we could see it live.

  • Esa cancion me recuerda ami amorzote q la amo mucho MARIA MILAGROS estas en mi corazon y en mi vida AMORE mio solo mio... TE AMO

  • led zeppelin will always be the gt\reatest band to ever play together

  • cool.many thanx

  • Led Zeppelin is......sompting special!!!

  • Does anyone know of any DVD q of them have this song?

  • All you little over grown children stop throwing shit at each other, you remind me of truckers...

  • fo sure, that guy is a fuckin turd!

  • Who is Robert Plant's wife in this photo? Is he still married to her?

  • it's Maurren, they broke up in the early 80's.

  • I don't understand how people wouldn't like this song, and I don't think Robert wrote it because he was just thinking that people would like it, I think he just wrote it to let all of his pain out for the loss of his son... that's why it's so great, because it has feelings on it, because is not a song written for publicity, that's why I love it so much..

  • For those who don't know, Robert Plant wrote this song about his son Karac who died at age 5.

  • uh I really didn't know D:

Poor him, terrible to lose his child!

I always loved this song, but now it's sad to hear it :(

  • is very beaytifl o my gd the started is the best in the world

  • song beautiful =)

  • wow.. :(

  • I just can't believe it, but JPJ is playing the bass pedals, the rythm section for the keyboard, and a solo at 3:07... Easily one of the greatest musicians of all time... I love this song so much... So much....

  • led zeppelin- the greatest band ever

  • How sad for Robert :'(

  • Song Beautiful

  • Should i fall out of my form in line??

  • uno de sus mas grandes exitos

  • i love you robert plant

  • elektrizing!! +1000

  • que bella cancion siempre estara en mi corazon

  • linda demaais!!!!!!

  • So is John Paul playing both bass and keyboard synth?

  • Yep, the great wonders of keyboard bass pedals.

  • live John plays keys and bass pedals

  • Not enough has been said about JPJ. Makes everyone else in the band look like slackers!

  • then ur not a true fan, ur just a poser that doesn't know the meaning of rock at its very best!!!

  • @theachtungtree I don't think anyone has a right to dump on Led. I don't see anyone else making any better music

  • @wmarcus1203 bob dylan or tim buckley did better music than zep at some point....just ask robert plant, and you people are assholes...cause i dont like this tune then that makes me an anti-zep guy...WHATEVER..im a zep fan but i just dont like this tune and i dont like zep recording in the same studio of abba....no thanks i prefer physical graffitti or prescence than this...any prob with that? anyway...nobodys perfect, not even mozart. i dont like to overrate artists, not into sucking balls

  • aye mate do u no wat this song is about

  • yes..and i respect the lyrics..beautiful...but its not robert's fault...its the fucking synth solo man...i dont get it..it sounds like toto or tangerine dream..sucks ass

  • but the synth solos awesome

  • theachtungtree:

thats basically wat ur supposed to play wen someone dies u ignorant fuck.

  • umm...i guess cheesy keyboards play a very important role in such gorgeous lyrics....umm....

  • the keyboard part is actually my favourite part <3 :D it is not cheesy

  • ok :)

  • It's about his son, who died very young

  • which son was it that died, was it the one playing in the water at the beginning of the song remains the same.

  • Fool in the Rain and In The Evening are two of Zep's best songs so SUCK IT.

  • umm..ok

  • no doubt thay are very good songs and are often passed up... however, when did zep ever write a bad song?

  • Never, except for Bonzo's Montreux. Easily the worst Zeppelin song.

  • well wat was it supposed to be? a guitar solo that made everyone forget wat the song was about? coz it wouldnt fit in. im pretty sure all of led zeppelin memebrs agreed to do it.

  • Ours is the fire, all the warmth that we can find.. this timeless song I dedicate to the man that stole my heart and watches over it like a dragon watches over his treasure... xoxo smiles~

    much love to you

  • Poor karac...-|-

  • is this the son karac that passed away that robert wrote the song about?

  • yea

  • the pic is of his second son, logan. karac died in 1977...this pic looks like it was taken in the 80's because RP looks older

  • ..cudo...

  • john paul jones kicks fucking ass!

  • my favorite song!!!! <3!!!!

    led rlz!!! (=

  • so amazing... anybody know of any live videos of this song? I would love watch them play it...

  • I'm sorry to say this, but it will be almost impossible to find any footage of them playing in 1980, unless it's real horrible. You should be happy were graced with this audio though.

  • Yeah, for some reason all footage I see of em from 1977 and up is bad stuff, technical issues to blame or just the members I don't know.

Though in the Mothership DVD there was like..four videos of live footage of them in Knebworth where they played real good, and I didn't think they could play that good still because I had only seen bad stuff from them during that time.

Just goes to show how media and bad management can fool yah <.<

  • You say hanah montana-i hit you in the face

    hahahahaha I agree

ALL OF MY LOVE TO YOU(8)

I love Led Zeppelin, Rob's voice is PERFECT

  • i do despise the mod r-n-b shite.....i usually like anything any human commited to recording....but the new stuff is like so representative of how degraged the specie has become.....if you judge a specie by it's creative exudings that is....know what i mean???

while led zep evoke all kinds of things across the spectrum of emotion

the hiphop RnB shite only expresses booty and stuff like that, sex....and non special animal sex at that.....degrading.

    it's pathetic...and then there's "auto-tune"...

  • aww i love this so much:)

it puts a smile on your face

i wish they would make a poster of this...i would TOTALLY BUY IT!!!

  • Wow, im very astonished of its similarity to the studio version, sounds amazing, cant believe they pulled it off live.

  • It might be like the doors with the guy playing that keyboard with the bass keys on top and other stuff on the bottom

  • You are all newbs

  • man thia song makes me cry whene i hear it ;-; fucking awsome man

  • Eternamente "Led Zeppelin"

  • Such a wonderful song. My favorite part is the keyboard solo 3:07-3:27.

  • kudos...

  • I agree, the best band ever...

  • I know John Paul Jones played the organ and piano, so he could be playing the synth, or it could be a recording played back in the live song, because it sounds like there's a bass in there.

  • Yup there is, JPJ is handling both the synth and bass there. I think he's got some foot pedals or something to play the bass, or a generated bass sound...He's been doing that since day one when they play a a song live that has both bass and synth.

  • Jonesy always plays the bass pedals-Led Zeppelin never used tapes for anything except the drone intro to "Immigrant Song" for some shows in '72...

  • Who is playing the keyboard synth on this?

  • john paul jones i think

  • {> r.i.p. K.A.R.A.C. r.i.p {>

  • love the pic, looked it up was me and my firsts loves song 25 years ago!

  • rocks....!!i'd like this song...but i dont know...who they are!!

  • wtff how can you nawt

    know who they are?

  • The guy must be kidding!!!

  • How in gods name do you not know who led Zeppelin are!?!?!!!!! Well I will take the liberty to inform you, they are Led Zeppelin, the greatest group of musicians to have ever graced this planet. with more passion, soul and talent than any other group of the day and any of the cocksucking corperate crap of the modern day. If you would like to hear more go to any music retailer and buy Led Zeppelin I, II, III and IV and be amazing by the most creative and passion music you will ever hear.

  • wow...you know they better...!!so many album they make,is thats true?i ever hear the song from led zeppelin is from SCHOOL OF ROCKS MOVIE(jack black)..

but i will say thank you coz now ..i know who they are..!!

  • Aha, there it is, proof that space Aliens are here.
