I think the only way around to dynamite is to clear a road in and use a backhoe. Many people think beaver dams consist mostly of sticks and branches. Wrong, there's alot of mud in there, darn near impossible to dig it out by hand if it got big enough. Once there's a hole the water flow will clear it out slowly, but before then... you're in deep.
