I remember this place well. I was a mere a mere lad when I taught at Clonbrook Govt. School in the mid-1970s, before moving to the US. The students loved me. I adored them. For most, this was their first daily interaction with a black guy. They would run their fingers thru' my 'wiry' hair and bring me fruits during the mid-day recess. I remember them all, the Ramkelawans, Sattaurs, Madhus ... just wonderful kids. It's because of you I began teaching again after a career in the foreign service.
I am going here in january for the first ever time from canada, what can you guise tell me about this country?

What a beautiful place. My mom had family in Ann's Grove, the adjoining village and I visited both when I went to Guyana.
