  • One of the best damn movies ever made

  • I appreciate, that the Honourable Judge knows all TWELVE commandments ...

  • Movies and reality, even true stories, in my opinion have little to do with history. This movie is fiction and does not claim to be true.Movies are made to create revenue for the makers not to teach history. Roy Beans real life was a lot different then this movie shows and my opinion most if not all have anything to do with real history. Thanks for the uploads, it was a entertaining movie worth watching, even if was fiction. What more can you ask of a movie that is way they are made.

  • 34:38-----the year 1919, and later judge returns....THOUGH HE DIED IN 1903!

the second part of this movie really goes into fantasy land; besides the crazy differences in dates, the real judge died in his sleep, with none of the explosions of this movie.

wyatt earp, bat masterson, judge roy bean---they all died peaceful old age deaths.

milius' THE WIND AND THE LION and EVEL KNEVIL his other 2 based on true stories movies that had little to do with reality.

  • 2:15 poor elderly bear, probably with one foot in the grave, being yelled at and kicked by paul newman; they always use old bears that have been raised from a cub for such scenes, with the growling sound edited in later----though the old animals can still go nuts, and newman could have gotten one good bite or swat from the poor mangy thing.

  • I lov epaul but I cant help but feel he was mis-cast in this role.He was made to play the leads in 'The Sting','The Hustler','Hud', 'Cool Hand Luke'. I just think his performance is hamhanded & much too un8even

  • that lawyer represents every runt, rat faced tory mp,parasites all.HANG EM.

  • Won't load

  • As many times as have watched this movie over the years, I still get chills at 40:36 - one of the most powerful scenes in film!

  • vicky principal was really something in this movie.

i couldnt take my eye's off her.

  • when she goes to buy the Judge's gun tector give's it too her as a token of the judge's love to her even never having met her.

If this part dont touch you heart really heavy?

    than something's wrong.

bittersweet ending to a great movie.

  • I love this movie so much its a very good one ! and Ava Gardner in the end ,My god the woman is bloody gorgeous! the 50.000 dollar she got for 3 days of her service,is worth it !!!!!!!

  • Thank you for posting this. That last scene with Ava Gardner...beautiful even then.
