I had BSNL 4Mbps connection but they never released full 4Mbps of capacity...it was like having 1Mpbs speed and paying for 4Mbps plan (Rs1500/- per month)....I finally got it disconnected and now have Atria Convergies Tech's broadband connection...its via fibre optic which connects directly to the base unit (RJ45) and its Rs999/- per month only and they have released complete 5Mbps and the speed is awesome.

when it comes to broadband, India is still in old age not next generation...I wish, we had connection with high speed (min: 4Mbps with almost costing nothing and a max of 50Mbps) for home usage. [and prices like 4Mbps = Rs450, 8Mbps = Rs750, 16Mbps = Rs1200] . BSNL come on....do something

@scapricon24 BSNL is still better i have MTNL and i pay 1000 a month and an additional 150 for landline and get a maximum of 180kBps at night!
