  • is that a VOX carrying bag the pedal is leaning on?

  • what other gear were you using in this demo?

  • great tone

  • Wow, a Marshall Lead 12! That was my very-first Marshall. Bought it back in the mid '80's (Next came the JCM900 50w Hi-Gain Dual-Reverb half-stack, which got stolen from our practice-space a few years after I got it - Still pissed about that).

That Lead 12 sounds way-better than I remember, although I had only been playing for a year or so when I got it, so I probably just didn't know how to make it sound good (NOW I do).

  • These were made back in the '90's, right? I bought a Dallas-Arbiter Fuzzface back around '88-'89, but since I don't have it anymore, I honestly-can't say who made it. Bought it new. Doesn't really matter, I guess, because now I have an '03 Analog Man NKT Sunface (w/ sun-dial). Oddly-enough though, I use my Throbak Fuzz Haze the most. It uses 2n404 germanium transistors instead of n.o.s. NKT275's, but it's the most-versatile Fuzzface-clone I've ever used and it cuts through a band-mix very-well.
