@MrHarindrakvidya There was actually an emotional thing about not killing Luke. He didn't hesitate to attack Obi-Wan or Padme because he was drunk off his own power. But he couldn't just stand by and watch his son die after he killed Jedi and innocents. It was a redemption thing.

this music is incerdible and definitely the best fight scene. It beats Yoda v Palpatine no question particularly as apart from that lightsaber swinging bit in the control room, there was no cgi and the 2 actors actually pulled that off for nearly ten minutes, plus it is actually faster than obi-wan v darth maul which at the time was the coolest thing ever :p

maybe it should be called battle of the hero though as anakin was far from heroric by this point.

It's a perfect break from Nazis, it's scary, the cinematography is AMAZING, it's memorable.. the script is beautiful, why do you dislike it? I think the picture of Indy in the scene in the mines, after he says: "..all of us" is equally iconic, as when you first see him in Raiders. The Temple of Doom hate train must end, it deserves more.
