hey, i bought this cam 3 months ago and used different types of SD cards for it and it wouldnt save or record anything, it would stop automatically with the sand timer spinning until the battery dies. i sent it in to the company and all i got was a crunched up post it note saying "cam works fine. using wrong card". i emailed and called the company to ask what kind of memory is compatible, but they wont answer or they just hang up on me. what memory card are you using? please?
Your vid helped me decide rather i should buy it, and i did Woot! mines came like a week ago, imma upload more vids on my alternate youtube account /user/WannaBDirecda. The quality is awesome and no jitters when you have home brew stabilizing mount (stedicam) Better than I expected it to be, although the buzzing audio is a bit unappealing it seems to be going away every time i use it.
would this camera be appropriate for a film making course?

Youtube HD is having codec issues which makes it choppy, the camera itself is great.
