So its means banking system require a massive improvement on its current system specially when people making payment through credit cards because swap system can't control credit card fraud on that stores / shops where CCTV facilities are not available, they must require photo ID like NICard of card holder then they could control credit card fraud. The system works like this : The banks restore your money on the CC if you inform them within a specified period of time after the theft took place. I do not know how it works in Pakistan, but it works like that in India, Europe, and the USA. In India, for most banks (HSBC, ICICI etc) the time is 12 hours, in Europe and the US, it is one day. Some banks in USA keep the money insured for indefinite period of time. The only entity that's caught in this are the vendors. The banks rarely pay them.
