Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, but they're not really creative.
They sound like every other screamo act in existence.
Of course, Shy Child sounds like a lot of other dance-rock bands, as do a lot of bands I listen to sound similar to other bands, but I just don't like screamo.
There isn't much "original" music around.
Even the more original bands were influenced by somebody else.
Lmfao dude does it look like I'm being serious about telling YOU what the best band is? I was just being silly. Enter Shikari is my favourite band but it doesn't entitle you to love them too. And I think they're pretty original with their sounds. Plus I like the hardcore stuff.
@jpmgmpj have you seen tmv live tho? tmv tells stories instrumentally i prefer tmv over atdi or sparta...i saw them on their last stop of their last tour badass show

At The Drive In's pretty cool.
I much prefer them to the Mars Volta.
Now, TMV are incredibly, unbelievably talented, but I find their music intensely boring, pretentious, and self-indulgent.
ATDI kicked some serious ass, though.
