  • 19 year old inglis would of made hayne look stupid. he was 100+ kg in this race with a injury. And the fact that matt bowen hasnt been mentioned is a joke. he makes running around people look easy. plus the fastest man on the track doesnt mean hes the quikest on the field big difference.

  • If anyone saw State of Origin game 3 in 2011 they would have seen Jharal Yow Yeh run down Hayne over a 40m sprint when Hayne had a 3-4m flying start so for anyone who thinks that Jarryd Hayne is the fastest in RL then forget it. There are others who weren't in this race who would have left him 4 dead. Same with the Union, Aussie rules and soccer guys. This wasn't a true representation of Australia's fastest footballers.

  • @Holden308 Totally agree this means nothing. AND we'd all love to see all the speedsters compete to really know who is the fastest. But that said Hayne would be close to, if not the fastest NRL player over the 100, but, as far as football fast goes, (over the 40m) sure, there's a heap of guys quicker over the 40. Soward is lightning over the 40 and probably the quickest IMO, that's not limited to him tho, there are some freaks over the 40, way too many to list and all quicker than Hayne!

  • nah jarryd hayne will get a rematch against john grant and hayne will beat him hopefully go jarryd hayne

  • Poor Inglis. He would of gone close if we hasn't injured. He was up there after 30. then injury got the better.

  • rod davies (queensland reds) mikaele pesamino (manu samoa 7s,fastest player in 7s) bryan habana (springboks, stormers) tonderai chavanga (springboks, lions) takudza ngwenya (usa, biarittz) doug howlett ( former all black, currently at munster) paul sackey (england, wasps) tom varndell (england 15s,7s) pierre spies (springboks, bulls) sosene anesi (chiefs, waratahs) and i could go on,but all these guys i mentioned, now this would be a great race! in terms of fast players, union kills league

  • @sssbbbwww30 all except sosene anesi n pierre spies all the rest agree choice race! yEA Rod davies should have been in this race!

  • @cuddybundi thanks, finally someone who agrees, i knw these r australias fastest footballers, but what a race it would be between the guys i mentioned in my comment ay

  • turner, what a champ. im faster though

  • @MrMilko no mate, kevin gordon easily, he runs 10.75, but if Amos Roberts wasn't in England he wouldn have won, he runs 10.38!!!

  • @Binnified brett stewart made amos roberts look slow a couple years ago in a game

  • if Chris Lawrence from tigers raced, he would of carved up

  • at 1.35 you can hear me yell out : GO INGLISSSSS !

    heheh :)

  • Go You Woodies.

  • and the finals players should be able to race.

  • yea kevin gordan would burn all players there

  • haha did any1 notice that greg inglis got ABSOLUTELY SMOKED!

  • jennings should be there, he's amazing ! <3

  • Union players do seem to have it over League in terms of speed. Especially some of the black fellas in Europe and South Africa.

It's weird, because generally League players are clearly fitter and the all round athletes

  • @z0mgrugbyreturns i only have to look as far as ur profile to no ur a dumbarse when ur profile says "david gallop is a fuckwit". david gallop has lead the nrl into a golden age of record breaking tv and crowd audiences, as well as sucsessfully expanding the game and making it the most watched spot in australia. ur a dumb troll.

  • @AcTuRsElF If you know anything about Gallop you'd also know he sold internet rights to Big Pond at a retarded figure, and promotes internet censorship above and beyond any other League in the world.

You talk about expansion? A few states in Australia lol. What about promoting the game outside of Australia?

What about the fact he makes it impossible for me to watch NRL highlights without paying a dumb price for them or illegaly obtaining them?

You know shit about NRL policy idiot

  • @z0mgrugbyreturns he sold the right but in doing so has promoted the game hugely becuase now ppl from overseas can watch the games. a few states in australia, nz, png, england and threw out europe, and now the usa which has tv rights to the nrl aswell as just establishing a few amatuer teams, and my south african mates told me that a few ppl over there are now starting to play league, thats expansion, where else does afl get played in aus?? nowhere. and union is dead in aus. also....

  • @AcTuRsElF PNG has always been Leauge mad. NRL has nothing to do with it. NRL has nothing to do with the games popularity in England either.

And the work done in New Zealand is laughable(I'm an Auckland fan!)

As for Britain, tell me where I can watch the NRL in Britain? The finals are on Sky Sports, but apart from the finals?

And don't make me laugh on the NRL tv rights in America. From Spike TV to a station nobody has heard of! And NRL only got that deal because SL was already popular on it!

  • @z0mgrugbyreturns nrl.com. u can watch the nrl from anywhere with that u dickhead. god i give up on u, ur just a dumb troll looking for a fight and dissing a sport u clearly like with ur wallpaper, its like ur fighting a fight against urself.

  • @AcTuRsElF Are you fucking slow in the head mate? The videos on NRL.com are only viewable by people in Australia and New Zealand.

Anyone outside of those 2 countries has to pay to access videos.

You're showing you have 0 idea what you're talking about. International viewers have to pay a monthly subscription on the Aussie Sport TV website to watch highlights.

And highlights on Youtube aren't viewable by international viewers either.

    Get a clue you mate.

  • @z0mgrugbyreturns also and my final comment cause im fucken over ur stupidity, when the bookies made a market for this race they installed gordan as favourite, followed by brett morris. neither of which are racing here. as for gallop, in a players poll in rlw, gallop had a huge approval rating, also on nrl.com the fans voted he was doing a good job, ur a minority in these 2 situations so im sure ud find more ppl on my side then urs.

  • @AcTuRsElF Well I couldn't give a shit. Popularity doesn't mean something is right or correct. That's a fallacy if I've ever heard one.

Also. I can find you 6 billion people who've never in their life heard of the NRL, ever. They'd all agree that the NRL has poor marketing.

And for the 2nd time. I'm a professional marketer. At 21 I'm already earning almost as much as Gallop. By the time I'm 30 I'll be a retired millionaire.

I know about marketing products. You don't.

  • @z0mgrugbyreturns mate u just told me it was blocked from ppl not from aus and nz then u told me u were in nz then u tell me its blocked for u, u are an idiot. how many countries do u live in? and ur telling me that the nrl owns bigpond so its there fault that overseas countrys have to pay? mate ur whole idea of everything to do with the nrl is wrong, u havent given me 1 good reason as to 1) why hayne is the quickest in the nrl when we all no its gordan and 2) why gallop is a bad ceo.

  • @AcTuRsElF Were you punched in your head as a newborn? I didn't say I'm from NZ, I said I'm a Warriors fan. I'm from England.

And I didn't say the NRL owns bigpond. I said the NRL sold the rights to Telstra in a retarded contract that's preventing the growth of the game internationally.

And here is the reason Hayne is the fastest in the NRL. He has an official timed 100 metre run of 10.2 seconds.

Nobody else has an official time. Gordon may be faster, but he has to prove it.

  • @AcTuRsElF And here is why Gallop is a bad CEO.

The NRL is one of the best sports leagues in the entire world. Yet even in Australia it's not even the dominant League(It only marginally outranks AFL in terms of TV audiences, in terms of attendance AFL shits on it)

If the NRL had a real CEO the league could be as big as the NFL globally.

NRL looks more popular to you because you're in Australia. 99% of the world has never heard of the NRL. That's poor marketing.

  • @AcTuRsElF So I'll ask again. How has he promoted the game hugely?

As someone in the marketing profession I see nothing he's done to get excited about.

He's already lost millions of potential fans courtesy of his dinasaur-age approach to the internet.

  • @z0mgrugbyreturns and so il state again, while hes in control of the nrl it has become the most watched and popular sport in australia and has also made the players and ppl within the game earn more. u just bullshit about ur things to pretend u no, get out of the dinosuar age and open ur eyes and ul see the videos rite in front of u. so il ask again, plz stop trolling.

  • @AcTuRsElF Listen, dickhead. I'll tell you again, the NRL has blocked all highlights for me. I am no in Australia. Therefore I'm not allowed to watch them.

"This video contains content from Telstra Bigpond, who has blocked it in your country on copyright grounds."

International viewers have to pay to watch Highlights. Dickhead.

Tell me who's in the dinasaur age here?

Gallop hasn't done shit. ALL SPORTS EARN MORE. ALL SPORTS HAVE BETTER TV RIGHTS.

  • @z0mgrugbyreturns mate uare from englandu wouldhaveno fuckenidea bout thenrl or sport ingeneral, fuck off back to ur superleague and pretend u no shit about howgod theres playersr cause i lvie inaustralia and ino exactly howthis gamegets promoted, the backpage of every newspaper here is a sport of some kind, u have noidea about anything in australia, including the nrl and shit it must b promoted pretty fucken good if u (1000s of miles away) are somehow allowed to leave urstain nrl related matter.

  • @AcTuRsElF Learn to type you imbecile. And I don't care how popular the AFL is in Australia. That's the fucking point.

A good CEO wouldn't limit himself to one country. He'd aim for international popularity.

You're changing the parameters of your argument because you can't win the original debate you started.

Camel racing is big in Afghanistan. But Afghanistan is one country. So is Australia.

  • @AcTuRsElF mate union is dead in australia..hahaha...who give a f@ck! Ausie is not the world!. I thought this video just showed the sole rugby player smoked a bunch of nrl players. ..my best advice get out of your little cmfort zone and xperience the world. Coz union is all over the f--king world and plus union internationals shit in leagues internationals so zip your shit from union cos we don't run over to league and ask for contracts, piss off cos you're just another shithole fan ..LOL.

  • @z0mgrugbyreturns u say the afl is shit to an afl fan and ud get 1) punched in the face 2) told off. thats ur point of view but clearly u were neva taught this when/if u went to school. thenubashthe nrl which ur surporting, very cotrodictive of u. lol so u say the he hasntspread the game and then i give u things that show hehasand u say itsirrelivent, as for crowd number i no the broncos recorded there best figures sincelike 95? i also no that membership and auidences are always going up from 09

  • @AcTuRsElF Are you stupid. How am I bashing the NRL? I'm bashing the administration and their failure to grow the game properly. You perceive it as me bashing the NRL because you're an illiterate fuckwit.

At the end of the day I'm a marketer. I know more about these things than you. You're out of your league in this debate.

The fact you thought NRL website allowed anyone to watch videos shows how little you know about this topic.

All sports attendance and figures are up. Even darts lmao

  • @AcTuRsElF You see the 2 recent videos you favourited, uploaded by Marshman. They'll be deleted from youtube in time because of Gallop and his internet censorship policy.

That's why Gallop is a fuckwit.

  • @AcTuRsElF Also considering how shit AFL is Gallop has done poorly.

If the NRL had a real leader the AFL would have been crushed into oblivion by the obviously superior game.

Also your point about record breaking tv is irrelivent. Tv ratings improve every year, for practically every sport. Gallops had little influence on that.

As to crowd numbers, there's only been a very marginal increase. To the point its irrelivent to mention.

You don't know anything about marketing lol

  • this is just a promo for powerade and bolt, there having a just NRL players race, and people who are saying jennings and stuff should race, they are racing in the NRL one.

  • big crowd. what a farce.

  • How were those two journalists at the end arguing over who got the interview first? Fight it out you two girls

  • there was heaps of player left out who could have done really well. they should hold this on a football field and mark up 20 lanes. track sprinting is one thing, running on a footy field is another.

  • jennings should of raced

  • Billy Slater should have raced

  • uate? are you serious, i can recall vatuvei running him down this season.

  • akuila uate and micheal jennings wouldve owned these guys....hahahaha greg inglis!!!.

  • akuila uate and micheal jennings wouldve owned these guys....hahahaha greg inglis!!!..p.s people this is in australia so stop talking about south african rugby players LOL

  • was entertaining but there are guys i wish couldv been in there (soward, gorden, habana just to name afew) but i also think the race should be on a field with ball in hand

  • rod davies! qld reds winger

  • how fast did he run it?

  • Man that surgery slowed Inglis down.

  • jennings got well under 11 seconds in highschool

  • i saw josh morris chase down jennings in an earlier match this season, so im guessing that jennings would finish in the middle somewhere

  • @mwhite4324 u run slower with a ball in ur hands, jenno also played most the year with an injury, jenno is quicker then josh morris il guanetee u that

  • if the runners team were in the finals they werent allowed to run

  • Habana...?

  • @krihel21

What about Pierre Spies for SA, apparently he clocks up around 10.5 seconds. pretty good for a bloke at 110Kg.

  • Inglis is not a speedster... He is a power runner, does the damage in the first 20 metres

I was surprised by Barba he did well, and by hayne i thought his strength was speed through agility but he can run...

Union players have much more specialized positions than in league... the wingers are either enormous ball runners (Lomu, Sailor or Tuquri) or super quick and agile (Turner, Robinson) not a combination of both like in league

  • @skamottie why did you just name two league-cum-union-cum-league players (Tuquri and Sailor)? Hardly a good way to make your point about two different sports by using players that play/played both.

And your assessment is outdated. Which is why you have wingers in the All Blacks like Cory Jane and Israel Dagg who combine all round skills. Winger is no longer a specialised position.

  • @skamottie LOL are you slow bro? Sailor, Tuqiri and Robinson were all professional League players before switching to Union!

  • @skamottie

Mate you are an absolute douche. Out of the 5 player you named, 3 are league-converts who then came to union. Sailor and Tuqiri were kangaroos, Jason Robinson is also ex-league from the UK.

  • What about Uate, Gorden, Zillman, jennings, Stewart. Theres so many faster Nrl players! Uate would have smoked the lot.

  • What about Uate, Gorden, Zillman, jennings, Stewart. Theres so many faster Nrl players! Uate would have smoked the lot.

  • @389Nicky i belive uate wasnt allowed to do it idk really, but the rest are in fianls so they werent allowed, there going to do it later together.

  • this don't prove nothing it just proves that turners faster then all those other 7 dudes and haynes faster the inglis, morris, barber and gardner it doesn't mean hes the fastest in the nrl hes fast though

  • notice the 2 interviewers having a verbal stoush

  • union players work on all skills..speed and power..league guys got shit on union players...even john grant who aint a professional rugby player beat the nrl boys..

  • @carloss338 John Grant would outrun 99.999% of Union players, whats your point?

Unions fastest definately edge Leagues, but don't be coi or stupid. There's pro Union players who need 20 seconds to run 100 metre.

Most forwards are slow as shit lol

  • @z0mgrugbyreturns I'd debate you on that one. At the top level they're all fast. The Springboks were training at my gym and the Boks prop, The Beast was cranking at level 18 on the treadmill and maintaining it.

  • @M2Double I'd say the Beast is a rare breed though. He's raw muscle rather than fat.

Plus I mean look at his nickname lol ;)

  • how is there even a replay... turner won easily, are they blind?

  • how the fuck was uate not in this race, shit.

  • uate would have schooled those fools, kevin gordon would have also

  • inglis didnt even try

  • What was the winning time?

  • @40734447 11.10, 2nd was 11.15 and hayne ran 11.20

  • wat a joke, not 1 of the nrl players there would be top 5 fastest.

  • @AcTuRsElF Hayne is NRLs fastest. Prove otherwise.

You're just saying others are fastest beacuse you're a biased cunt who can't accept the NRL lost the race.

Hayne has a verified track time of 11.2... Who else in the NRL has a verified time?

  • GO RUGBY! LOL

  • what about all this talk that nrl players can run 10.5's and 10.6's clearly not

  • Barba beats Morris - that's an upset

  • Where was Uate?

  • Hayne did well, certainly didn't let down the leagees.

  • good race, lachie the fastest, union the best

  • Slater admitted he's slower than inglis and he was well behind when he started pulling up

    But seriously eastwood fucking represent!!

If only we could have lachie back for the finals!!

  • haha the two guys fighting over interviewing him was a classic!

  • lol @ inglis - useless nuff nuff

  • greg inglis sucked. they should have gotten some faster people. Kevin Gordon, Yow Yeh, Jennings etc.

  • What was his time. and what about Kevin Gordon

  • slater, kevie gordon and akuila uate would have made this sprint memorable and a joy to watch...thanx 4 uploading!! G.I gave up at the half way stage lol.

  • The result speaks for itself. Good on you Lachie. That makes up for the wrongly disallowed try on Saturday. Go faster!

  • Inglis would have to have 20kgs over some of them blokes. Richmonds Brett Deledio or Robbie Nahas would have given it a shake imo

  • @nickharris12 greg inglis is injured

  • @energyshuff1 Well he shouldn't have run, let one of the fit fellas have a go

  • @nickharris12 lol i was actually meant to reply to fooledyoass and yeh he should of =P

  • what the hell happened to inglis?!

  • Y no AFL runners?

  • Hope they do this again, just rugby and league players, scrap AFL and Soccer, they aint built for short distance sprints. throw in jennings and slater and it would be an insane race.

  • @dooshsayswhat slater doesnt have the 100 m speeds down pat hed burn most over the 40 though, id like to see gordan and brett morris, also i think soward would be good even though hes prob a 40 metre man also.

  • @dooshsayswhat And how about Kevin Gordon, and Amos roberts!

  • @dooshsayswhat and gordon

  • @dooshsayswhat Jennings yes. Forget Slater. He's at least 10 metres slower than Hayne. Very nimble over a short distance, but don't be fooled into thinking he's got any real speed over 100m. He hasn't.

  • Can I get everyone to 'like' the video so I can increase the ranking. Thanks!

  • @dafunk26 thanks for putting up bro=new zealand appreciates it, we still have "look whos talking" at the movies!

  • false start by the rah rah

  • haha those 2 guys at the end fighting over who could interview him

  • hahaha yeah cut to replay while they had a barney, you hear turner just before they cut back which one?
