  • o alrite nice set up man

  • @hollywood4430 ya there were kind of nice but had alot of problems thats why i got a 96 powerstroke haha

  • would you sell the black one?

  • @hollywood4430 I sold it a while back

  • i just bought one and it came with an electronic break that the previous owner intstalled, how do i take it off i do not want it i just want orginal breaks

also the guy said the main gas tank doesnt work only the AUX he said its the selector valve next to the driver seat, and also my temp gage doesnt really work, pleasse help

  • @kp7100 you sure that isnt trailer brakes hes talking about cause I personally have never heard of elelctric brakes on a truck and it probably is what the selector valve for the gas tanks the temp gauge is probably just the wire is broken or something thats why it didnt work in mine its the wire going to the thermostate

  • @86f150l yea sorry thats what i meant the trailer brake, how can i properly remove it? also i checkd under the valve and it looks connected by multiple hoses. so what do i do, do i just go to a junk yard and grab one and slap it on? theres nothing electronic about them? or any other connections i should know about the gas??? also i will try to look for the connection for the temp: where would it be..i have a 1974 f100 ranger xlt 390 cid c6 auto trans...thank you for replying and the help i need.

  • @kp7100 the trailer brakes you just take out the box under the dash and all the wires going to it go down and under the truck and to the back why do you want to take it out any way? the valve i guess you could go to a junk yard or to napa or something and get a new one and the hoses make sure they go back to the right place on the new one and the temperature were the top radiator hose connects to the motor that there should be a wire connecting to the thing the hose goes on thats the wire for it

  • @86f150l i dont know i have no use for it aint gonna haul anything. the gas vavle im probably gonna need help because i look up fuel tank selector valve and it brings up some weird one idk if you look it up on autozone or something ull see. also my reverse lights do not work how to i work with that? and my intrument cluster lights dnt work either i changed the bulbs but my switch is shot i cant find the 7 prong headlight sitch there all 8,, what do i do??

  • @kp7100 i guess get one from a parts truck or something I honestly have never replaced that before so I dont know the reverse lights is a wire that goes into the transmission and goes back to the tail lights so there is something wrong with the wire been there or the bulbs burned out the light in the dash could also be a fuse for the switch go to napa or carquest and say what you need and what its for stuff like that alot of times you got to go to parts places that know what there talking about

  • Is your oil pressure gauge not working ? Or the sending unit went bad ? I hope so the gauge didn't go up.

  • @1972FordF150 it was probably the wire or something I honostly dont know I dont have that truck any more

  • @86f150l Oh.

  • is the white one lifted any more than the factory lift?

  • @mhapayers94 ya as I remember it had a 3 inch body lift

  • YOUR TRUCKS TURN ME ON

  • whats with the oil pressure? I just got my 390 highboy running go to my vids and check it out

  • @miller8393 on mine or yours?

  • @86f150l your gage wasnt reading nothing. maybe it wasnt hooked up

  • @miller8393 ya it must not work

  • @miller8393 what?

  • It was also a car back in the 30s

  • My friend and i have the same truck and we are runin 45s on our truck but he has the dick cepeks and I have the dicover cooper mudd terrains

  • ya I want to get bigger tires for mine but they cost alot of money

  • wtf is a highboy

  • its a truck ford made in the 70s were they put a lift on it in the factory

  • is there anylift on your highboy? add a leafs? it really looks nice man, i think you could even go with 38's.

  • ya on top of the 4 inch factory suspection lift it has a 3 inch body lift Im thinking about puting bigger tires on it when I get new tires for it but I want it to be street legal to

  • its your truck, but don't rev any engine like that when first starting it up, unless its been running for a few minutes, you wouldn't believe the damage you can do when revving a cold engine, but let me say nice truck! these trucks are a favorite of mine, maybe next week i can have a update video on my trucks progress, i think everyone will like my trucks new paint job,

  • ya I had been driving it before so it was warmed up I might be puting a stroker motor in it eventually but the 390 will do for know

  • 390's have a ton of potental too! I have a '79 F-250 w/ a 6" lift and 38's and a 351M and it gets it done with only 250HP! I have a 390 in the shop that my dad bought in '84 for $2000 that should have 500HP. before they pulled the motor the owner smoked all 4 35" tires in 4WH!!!
