I'm not hating on Honda. I love Honda. They have however gone away from the cars I loved of 10-15 years ago when they were more sporty and fun to drive. They've gone a bit too vanilla in some cases for my liking.

I love how subtle the name placement is of "Honda" most adverts are like "LOOK AT THIS PRODUCT AND OUR COMPANY ISNT IT THE BEST THING EVAR ZOMG" where as this is really subtle and has messages etc.
Not only is this a great ad, but an amazing piece of cinematography.
Honda goes uphill to promote a Japanese brand to the Western world that is skeptic about a non-European ethnic based company that looks to share the market with the same spectrum of vehicle classes. Thus they hint to us that they have an impossible dream.
People in the modern world (those particularly born from the 1960s on) have absolutly no patience or understanding of history. It took thousands of years of technology development to get us to a point 100 years ago and today, people expect answers two minutes from now. The "green" world that so many demand requires years of exhaustive research/testing, etc. Until then, thank God for oil, coal and the engineers at places like Honda who are making the world a better place.

It's kind of a let-down to go from a jet to... an ordinary car, a little robot, and solar panels. Sure Honda makes all those things but it ruins the way the ad's series of faster and more powerful machines.
