  • j'écoute,et rien à faire j'adore,cette musique est fantastique,merci à toi........

  • merci beaucoup :)

  • Nice work!!!

  • thanks :)

  • Do you happen to have posted somewhere a description of your setup? i would love to see how you manage your workflow.

  • in the video dscription there is a list of gear with the chains fro every device, what more do you want to know, i'll tell you

  • First off. Your midi clocking everything I assume. What is the master? I assume you are using some samples, what program are you producing the samples with. or are the samples originally hardware based?

  • the ESX is the master, it sends its midi out to the kawai midi patchbay, which redistributes the clock and nothe to it's 8 outputs

i only use drum samples (almost) all synths are real time (mks, tx81z, nord, dx200)

i used soundforge to trim them

i sampled a few classics(amen, funky drummer, beat it, lust for life, leevee) and a few personal favorites from my record collection

most drums are from my long time library (some from NI elek/ackous drums, DKFH, tape 909/808

  • IIRc in my tribe there is a coule loops sampled from my own synths (JX3p mainly)

in the redsound, ome vocals from a speak and spell, some classic calls from IIRC vengence essential, McCartney talking to the quebec crowd, some speech synth, a few movies (2001, office space, matrix)

i use the KP3 as a drum roll most of the time and the kaossilator as a noise sweep, the tx plays the bass, the MKS the lead, the nord adds fat and grit to the leads, while the DX200 runs it's own 1 bar 303-esque sequ

  • Wow. well i have to say you have one of the most solid setups I have seen.

  • after seeing daft punk, the chemicals brothers and the crystal method live, i assure you they have better setup than I do, but they have a whole crew to carry it/assemble it, so it's unfair competition lol

thanks a lot for watching and especially tking the time to comment

  • Yea, but daft punk has the advantage of being able to afford jazzmutant lemurs. and they are working in the digital spectrum of things. You have an extremely impressive setup for all hardware based.

  • i know, tho they use 4 minimoog voyager live

but the chems were all HW except for the sequencing which was cubase on an atari, but yeah, money helps a lot(if the lemur and monome had real MIDI i'd probably use them with my rig)

  • i have to add that i'm a (road) case freak since i started 20 years ago, cases and snake costs probably more than the gear they hold/connect, and had more time and thinkering done than any of the songs too LOL

the songs, i just let it flow, but the casing, it's a milimeter thing

  • oh, about MIDI clocking, the kaossilator/mini KP and soundbite are MIDI-less devices, so i just set them at teh tempo and hope i'll be tight when i use them

  • sick 1:38 you coming to the NYC anytime soon?

  • thanks a lot, i wish i was admitted in the US of A lol
