@kirundo1 i have read missionary reports from early colonial times and they describe cannibalism and voodoo paganism human sacrifice. maybe they are wrong but my general impression is that europeans brought a civilizing influence to africa, it wasnt utopia but people were fed, there was law, schools, infrastructure and hospitals etc. now white farmers are being slaughtered when mobs of crazies burn down the farms and cause the starvation of millions. why burn trains? isnt public transport good?

@iorixs Your question is correct as to why burn a train? That’s not racial or African phenomena, it’s rather social structure, where many thugs are uncontrollable given domestic political fiasco. In Africa, yes we don’t have good governance nor democratic institutions neither robust civil society, and that’s why any small incident gets out of control easily in destructive manner. @kirundo1 i agree that SOME europeans exploited and slaughtered and that the armies were composed of people who had no economic option but to join and were caught up in the hoopla generated by people in 'high places'. europeans are not innocent, i agree. i think the root of the african issue lies in family structure. that there is no family structure. children are not raised in a loving family instead they are left to fend for themselves on the streets where they learn violence.

But the defining moment came during the 2 World War, that’s when Whites in-fighting really benefited Black African than any other time before, but not enough to pull entire continent out of its demise. When Europeans clashed in WW2, the recruited millions of Black Africans, each European colonial power taking in whatever number of men they want.The war went on, and at the end, USA came out of it victorious in the sense that other allies were severely wounded in terms of every thing
