Actually no. What it is does is free the user from the complications caused by Windows. Windows causes your system to clutter and fail for any number of reasons. This is why your parents call and ask you to come over and help them fix the "so and so". On the help desk side...you can have your parents call you on break/fix or you can have them call the company (a/k/a someone who actually knows how to fix a broken system).
Terrible system, good concept but it's awfully implemented, and quite a rip off for 20$ per month, this preys on seniors inability to do much on computers, essentially adding extra costs to their monthly internet costs.

This is fucking horrible. This company takes advantage of the disabilities of seniors.

We have this system and it's far from terrible. The monthly covers all kinds of things including their wonderful support. Well worth it.
