I agree. If that kid wants to play with a pick, then he should be allowed to play with a fucking pick without a bunch of air-heads telling him he sucks.
Even though I think that kind of sucked, it's not my right to say so because he's obviously happy to play his song and that's all that matters.

Really, once you get past the initial blister that you get from thumb strumming, the skin hardens up and the softer sound obtained from strumming is like heaven. REally. GL with the uke, glad to see some videos up here of the under-appreciated instrument!
YA its realy nice it has a realy rich sound to it but when i first got it it had a vibrating string but I worked it out it is realy nice to play and handle.
Keep it up! The amp sounds a little harsh though. Adjust the settings to mellow it out a bit. Also you probably could have recorded this without the amp and got a better sound.
Hey Dude nice work and great choice of Uke - I just got one the same - the reason it sounds so harsh is mostly cos ur using a pick - throw the pick away and just use your first finger - it's easy and sounds much better - then adjust your tone settings on the amp if you need to - keep it going rockstar!
I think it sounds awesome, its harsh but I like that because it's different.

So what? Bass isn't meant to played with bass, but some people do that. Right handed Strats weren't made for lefties, but Hendrix played one.
