In a video peta stated that they put down 75% of the animals they brought in because they could not find homes for them. First there are alot of no kill shelters out there second maybe insead of donation to orginations that blowstuff up/burn things down they could take that money and build no kill shelters. As Jews we must make a stand & stop eating meat. The Torah says we should treat animals with kindness. Kosher slaughter was 100s of years ago probbly the kindest way of slaughtering an animal. I want to go vegetarian again. I could always raise my own goats for milk if I truely needed it but really I just want another goat for a pet since they are such nice animals. I could have chickens for eggs but I want them as pets as well. Pet is just another word for friend. I personaly believe that God created people to take care of the animals and God created people as caretakers.

That's a good question- I would say the majority of my issue with meat is the way it is killed- In fact, I first transitioned into vegetarianism after making a switch to only chicken from a local farm in my area- I was able to visit the farm and see that these chickens had REAL lives before they died, they had access to inside and outside ground, sun and shade, fresh grass...pretty much everything a chicken would want. I really liked that idea. Then after awhile I decided to give up meat totally

Animals as food: Humans are omnivores, meant to eat both plants AND meat. Otherwise we would only have molars, like real herbivores. Our evolutionary ancestors also ate meat.
Experimentation on animals: We have learned much that will help humanity, that could ONLY have been learned by experimenting on animals. Example: Neo-plasticity of the brain, will help stroke victims, only learned about through experimentation on monkeys.

I know, becoming fat or blocked blood veins can be caused by meat consumption, but if done in a reasonable way people can live long lives on meat(with other foods of course).

@swatcapt11, Lions, Tigers,alligators etc. Those animals ONLY eat meat. We can replace meat in our diet. We eat different kinds of foods. Lions can't use technology to humanely kill something. They have to kill, be killed or have some other animal steel their food. They are wild. They don't stab each other with knives, they don't hang each other and they don't beat each other. They kill because they don't have a choice.

@swatcapt11, yes I know PETA is corrupted. I really want to join the ASPCA. It really pisses me off when I see animals being tortured. We need to enforce the animal laws. SUPPORT ANIMAL RIGHTS! Anyway, animal testing. There are products out there that are against animal testing. They use other things to test on. Just look up vegan and vegetarian body builders. I've been a vegetarian for 5- 6 months now. (CONT).

In a video peta stated that they put down 75% of the animals they brought in because they could not find homes for them. First there are alot of no kill shelters out there second maybe insead of donation to orginations that blowstuff up/burn things down they could take that money and build no kill shelters. @swatcapt11, you can get protein from fruits, veggies and etc. Not only are veggies healthy for you ( they are extremely YUMMY!). The ASPCA humanely puts an animal down. I just don't want any animal to suffer if it's going to be for food. I support animal rights and I don't want ANY animal to be in pain for human use. Anyway, hunting pisses me off because it's for "fun". Killing something for fun? Um no. I could understand if it was survival and not for fun.

I have a friend and when him and his dad go bird hunting they pay to have all of the meat prossest and test (to make sure the bird was not sick) adn then donnests it to people who needs it. i agree that if they wast the meat then it is wrong.

It's amazing that we have to work so hard just to have a mercy on the weak and vulnerable. Hope, prayers, letters, help, but I think it would be best if we simply started buying stock in these companies and calling for votes to put representatives on the boards of directors.
More humane students need to go into the sciences, oversee experiments and take responsiblity for taking research into a more humane direction.

As Jews we must make a stand & stop eating meat. The Torah says we should treat animals with kindness. Kosher slaughter was 100s of years ago probbly the kindest way of slaughtering an animal. As soon as this method of slaughter went into factoy farming it became one of the cruelest ways of killing. That goes for Halal as well.

I want to go vegetarian again. I could always raise my own goats for milk if I truely needed it but really I just want another goat for a pet since they are such nice animals. I could have chickens for eggs but I want them as pets as well. Pet is just another word for friend. I personaly believe that God created people to take care of the animals and God created people as caretakers.

@flute4hire Meat grosses me out and I can't even touch pork. Pigs are okay to pet but I can't bear the thought of eating one. I had some really bad tasting brisket once and I can't touch that anymore. YUCK! I personaly don't think God made animals to be eaten. That's what He made fruit for. Organic fruit, not this hybrid crap people have made. But anyway, I'm going vegan again once I move out.

I could never eat cheeseburgers as a jew (you cant x meat & dairy) but I used eat vegie burgers with cheese. I fist went vegie because it was easyer to stay kosher, i dint live neer kosher butcher so it was easy. going vegan is harder.

The nature of fascism is derived from the fact that there is an all or nothing attitude. Using some animal products does not put someone on the same level as an animal torturer.

Animal exploitation is terrible,but you have to see the link to our political/economic system in which exploitation means profits.
Similar things as to the monkey are also done to people. And the harder you make someone work and the less money you pay them , the more profit a CEO makes.The more animals you put into cages, the lower the costs, the more profitable.
We need another system, check out permaculture, parecon or the venus project.

That's a good question- I would say the majority of my issue with meat is the way it is killed- In fact, I first transitioned into vegetarianism after making a switch to only chicken from a local farm in my area- I was able to visit the farm and see that these chickens had REAL lives before they died, they had access to inside and outside ground, sun and shade, fresh grass...pretty much everything a chicken would want. I really liked that idea. Then after awhile I decided to give up meat totally

Man no longer needs meat to survive..in fact, America's reliance on meat is KILLING us, hands down. With all the great products we have access to now, eating meat is totally unecessary. It is not life or death, at this point eating meat is just cruel. We'd be healthier if we just gave it up. If you are on a boat with a cow in the middle of the ocean and you need to kill the cow for food, by all means, go ahead. If it's a survival issues, sure, eat meat. Other than that, there's really no excuse

Animals as food: Humans are omnivores, meant to eat both plants AND meat. Otherwise we would only have molars, like real herbivores. Our evolutionary ancestors also ate meat.
Experimentation on animals: We have learned much that will help humanity, that could ONLY have been learned by experimenting on animals. Example: Neo-plasticity of the brain, will help stroke victims, only learned about through experimentation on monkeys.

We can live on meat for long lifetimes, and have a hunters instinct. If we were meant to be grasseaters the predator instinct would not be there and meat would make us sickly. I know, becoming fat or blocked blood veins can be caused by meat consumption, but if done in a reasonable way people can live long lives on meat(with other foods of course).

Get involved with an animal rights group/ campaign close to you. IE: SHAC (stop huntingdon animal cruelty) not sure if that's near you though.

I understand ALF, but ELF? Burning property pollute like a fucking bitch. That's one thing I really dislike about ALF, and you'd think ELF (or any other environmental group) would take "greener" means of taking direct action. You can't wash blood with blood.

did you even watch this video? it was clearly explained several times that the ALF is not an organization. It's not something that you 'join.' It is mainly comprised of the actions of people worldwide. It is a front in which people commit acts in order to liberate animals. There are no 'headquarters'.
