After the war many Jews returned to Denmark - unlike the situation in other liberated countries (- especially Poland) where the majority prefered going to Israel instead of going back to the neighbors who betrayed them to the Nazis. The Danish king even welcomed many of the Jews back home in the habour of Copenhagen.

My grandfarther - Oluf Andersen - was helping a lot of Jews a night in 1943.

Then there was The Danish Brigade - 5000 men.

Danish sailors on allied duty - 6.000 (this is the figure I like most, since these were away from Denmark on april 9th - most joined up).

Finally - there were 44.000 men under arms in the miltary wait groups, which were under allied command.

Resistance was put up at first but it's true that we did quickly surrender since denfense was pointless. But many Danes joined the resistance army and even more joined the British army. Now, since you bring it up, I have some things to say about the Americans too. First of all, the Americans hadn't chosen side in 1940 and didn't do so until Midway in 1941. Secondly, it was the Russians who fought street by street in WW2. And thirdly, the Americsns use nuclear bombs instead of risking lives.

Wiking Division was a mix of various nationalities.

Regiment Nordland from Wiking Division were Scandinavian volunteers, and was pulled out of line to form Division Nordland. It had two infantery fighting regiments:

SS-Panzergrenadier Regiment 23 Norge

SS-Panzergrenadier Regiment 24 Danmark

Frikorps Danmark was a true danish volunteer unit, and more than 6.000 served until 1942 when the korps became part of Division Nordland. They were amoung the last to defend Berlin.

3) They fought in Berlin because they knew what awaited them at home.

In Ukraine and Lithuania, for example, many citizens were so anti-Semitic that they actively participated in the mass slaughter of Jews alongside the Nazi einsatzgruppen (mobile killing units). This did not happen in Denmark, where Jews were viewed as equals. During this dark period when many descended into barbarism, the Danish people stood out, because they held on to their humanity.

What are you talking about? Czechoslovakia was basically handed over to Hitler by the Western powers as part of their policy of appeacement. Czech Rep. was occupied without a single shot and Slovakia became a puppet state under Germany's control. It got occupied too later in 1944. It was Hungary that fought willingy alongside Germany.

Entire WW2 was a fake well prepared by families behind FED in order to overcome the financial crisis after 1929. Just have a look at the nazi members.
