you can get apps through itunes on ur computer, then u sync them to your ipod( there are many free apps, some better that others) to change your background, you go to settings, then you go to general, then a tab saying wallpaper sould be on there, you can go to there and pick from some pitures...but you can buy an app that lets you browse hundreds of wallpapers and shit for free...its called backgrounds, and its free
