  • It is a yohor, but i do not understand anything except "khoryodoy", the end of zhe song is not a youkhor" , sure. Something what i do not understand; some mix; i suppose

  • Pearheaps are they khamnigan, khamnigan are true bilingual mongol/evenk and their mongol dialect is related to halha and buryat;

  • So, are they three Mongol girls and one Evenk, and do they sing in Mongolian?

  • korean is evenks .I saw evenks first time. so great !! thx

  • @Askar590 No! Although Tungusic language group relates both Korean and Mongolic languages, distance between Korean and Tungusic is farther by big margin, compared to distance between Tungusic and Mongolic. Genetic analysis also have proven that Evenks are closer to Mongols and Kazakh people whereas Koreans have more affinity toward Chinese

  • @dizzhonest Actually, Koreans display a high frequency of mtDNA haplogroup D4 which is traced to Siberians, and Y-DNA haplogroup Ob2 which is linked to the Manchurian region. I'm not saying they are related to Evenks but there is a clear and discernible difference between Koreans and Chinese.

  • @janetGOREton but how about prevalence of C3 and related haplogroups which is modal among Evenks and Mongolians, C linneage was never high among koreans. Indeed its frequency is much lover than O linneage haplogroups. Basically speaking koreans belong to O linneage like other East and South-east asians, while C linneage predominates among Siberians and Central Asians.

  • @dizzhonest Y-DNA haplogroup C3 is not modal among Evenki, it's prevalent among Mongols, Kazakhs, Buryats, Daurs, Kalmyks, Hazaras, Manchus, Sibes, Oroqens, Koryaks, and Itelmens. There is a moderate frequency in other Tungusic peoples, Koreans, Ainus, Nivkhs, Altaians, Tuvinians, and Uzbeks. C lineage as you put it expands to South Asia and Austronesia. For instance, Y-DNA haplogroup C4 is predominent in native Australian males. Also, C5 occurs in Central Asia but is found in S. Asia as well.

  • @janetGOREton I apologize, it seems Evenki is indeed one of the Tungusic people that displays a high frequency of C3. Nevertheless, in terms of classical genetic markers such as protein and nuclear DNA show that Koreans tend to have a close genetic affinity with Siberians/Mongol. In contrast, genetic surveys of mtDNA indicate that the Koreans are more closely related to the east Chinese and Japanese among east Asian populations, The peopling of Korea is likely to have involved multiple events

  • @dizzhonest It's also interesting to note that Mongolians call Korea "Solongos" meaning Solon tribe and the people as "Solon." Evenks are Solon.

  • @janetGOREton But Solongo+s- mean in Mongolian, rainbow in plural form. Mongolians called Koreans so because of their colorful traditional garmenst. On the other hand Solon in plural form will be Soloon+uud=Soloonuud. Besides evenks also called khamnigan, orton, uriankhai etc.

  • @dizzhonest I am Russian I do not speak Mongol so I apologize but from what I've read about Evenki they are also called "Solon." I did not know that it meant rainbow, thanks for the tip.

  • @janetGOREton no problem, people understand things through conversation

  • this doesnt seem like evenki language? is this a more sinocized version for evenki's that have lived in china longer or mongol influenced?

    Buryat dialect and language is also differnt from evenki...great vid though! thanks for posting
