@mpahars Some of the newer models of linksys routers don't work properly with this video. The newer ones require a different port forward. Try looking elsewhere. Sorry this video doesn't help everyone.

Both games are great but cod 4 is the best. @ gunzrunescape - Cod does have pros just like Halo and I would say that there are actually more since the game has a lot more people playing it. I know this because I am pro and recently went to Anaheim for Nationals. You may have excellent connection. But that means that you have good mbps and your NAT is open. though you have this, that doesn't mean that you have the mbps from your router. Your ISP is what determines how fast your internet is. If you want green bars, you must have a broadband connection. This usually means T1 or T3. If you have anymore questions on the connection, contact your ISP.

yeah, it has nothing to do with the type of computer you have unless you have a bridged connection. You'll no if you do if you have your ethernet for the xbox from the back of your mac to your xbox. Whereas, a non-bridged would be from your linksys router.

You have to go to your xbox's dashboard, then to system then to network. from there, you look sat I believe DNS settings. There you will see your xbox's IP.

Yeah, I'm not sure exactly, I think though that it is the same as the previous xbox one, just a different ip. If the xboxs are the same IP though, then you wouldn't need to. It's more of a trial and error thing as I don't know for sure. I have two xboxs as well, but luckily they have the same IP

It allows your connection to accept the incoming receptions and to play with other players. Simply, it alows you to play with other people that you couldnt of before. And, some game load times, like halo3, will load 4x as fast.

Yo btw matt.. this is moosie boi .. lol .. Just saying.. you can also retrieve your ip by hitting the start menu, clicking "run" , Type in cmd prmp .. Then type: ipconfig (no spaces) And it will show your ip.. and a lot of people have errors like, not allowing two applications in there port range on at the same time. This is cause their linsys router needs to be updated.. Ver 1.04 linsys router will not allow this. If you have a Ver 4.04 or higher, usually works.. :D .. just thought id help!
