So at night, when no one is around she becomes herself and dances and relaxes "Marilyn, Judy, Sylvia," referring to Marilyn Monroe, Judy Garland and Sylvie Plath and also Jon-Benet Ramsay (who is mentioned in this song) are all dead and were all in abusive relationships. It's like Gaga is telling these women what they wanted to hear when they were alive.

I think this song is about celebrities who died too young and tragically and now they "dance in the dark". She mentions Marilyn, Judy, Liberace and Diana. Marilyn Monroe (died of a prescription drug overdose) Judy Garland (alcoholism), Liberace (AIDS) and Princess Diana died as a result of her fame. All these people had emotional issues / problems / addictions so they were "a mess". They died and are hopefully dancing in the after world.
