LMFAO what the fuck did you do? My Cyber Power has lasted me like 2-3 years. Only needed to replace a hard drive once, and that's not their fault, it's seagate's fault.
My PC from Cyberpower crashed and died on first day. The Xtremegear 950W power supply failed and fried everything. Thankfully, I just lived 40 minutes away so I RMA'ed it and had it back in about 4 days. It's been better with the same power supply running SB 2600K processor, 1 Radeon HD 6950, 1TB Raid 0, 1 SSD, 2 DVD/Blu Ray Drives, & 16GB G skill. all that to say, it works but failure rate is very high.
@marlibling Mine was a month+ wait and they wanted me to mail it to them instead of doing the work myself. and a few other bull shit things like placing me on hold then hanging up on me after about an hour on hold...
@Wolfstanus I feel your pain. Their customer service sucks but thankfully I live so close. I have heard too many stories about the return issues there but I still enjoy cyberpower. When I order a PC I pray all will be well enough for me to handle the rest myself. If not, you have 30 days to a refund - I think.
does cyberpower do good with putting together there desktops or should i just buy the parts and put them together myself?? I don't mind if its a little more expensive im just lazy and don't want to connect everything??
@AETutorials42 Do not get extreme gear It fails after awhile. Look at the 3rd video about cyber power in my channel. Also get corsair got a 850tx and runs quiet. only loud thing is my heatsink. V6 GT but its not annoying loud.
@MrG4M3RT4G Im getting a better rig soon. I returned this one and im getting my money back. it caused $300 in damages and cyberpower told me connected items are not coverd as its not on the invoice. Even when its caused by their wiring.
@Wolfstanus And.... that just changes it all. Lol, I cant find a decent company. I've been searching for a while and I'm on a $2000 spending limit.
Would you know any other trustful company that sells at decent prices. I would build my own but I just dont really have the time or patience and not to mention all the things that could go wrong if you're not VERY careful.
@MrG4M3RT4G Any local stores you can walk into? Im going local. I allready have some parts that im skiping because I have them. im getteing one with a p67 sabertooth mobo, 1.5 TB HDD, Corsair Obsidian tower, 8 gigs of ram, 750 PSU, and a few other things. I allready have a collermaster v6gt ( NZXT sentry 2 fan controler, 2 CD/DVD/RW drives. and im skiping on a video card because im wanting a really good video card a GTX 570-590. its going to cost around the same ammount but better quality.
@MrG4M3RT4G getting a PC online through cyberpowerpc/ibuypower/emachines etc etc etc. is a crap shoot you get lucky or you dont. I would say get a local one built for you. if it has a problem you can go in with the thing you your arms and say fix it. Go into a bunch of stores and talk to the people. its what im doing while I wait to get my refund.
i gree so much i build ma own pcs i do it for a living no matter were u buy a ready made pc it will be a rip of unless its some one that loves pcs and is not a big company
You got taken for a ride on the Powersupply and Cooling, the house brand PSU's and Cooling CyberPower PC uses are notorious for being garbage (Xtreme Gear is CyberPower PC brand btw). I think you could have saved money by getting the I5-2500k because you don't seem the type of person who will fully utilize hyperthreading. Getting a SATAIII HD is a waste of money since no Hard-Drive can transfer 6gb of data per sec so you are just wasting a SATAIII port.
@DEviceJR It works for me and I like having more than I currently need. I often switch between up to 8 differnt programs all running at the same time. the OS is on the SSD. everything els is on the normal HD. I didn't want a I5 I wanted the I7. I never heard of anycomplaints on computer forums and I looked at both cyberower and ibuypower and decided to get a cyberpower as it was cheaper. I had a budget afterall. Also no complaints in computer websites on the parts when I asked.
@Tony11244 yeah its is. I built a AMD computer a long time ago. But I was tiresd of making and or rebuilding and upgrading a computer. So the Gateway was so burnt out it could not be repaired anymore without replacing everything. I just didn't feel like making one after I spen a year constantly trying to keep the thing running.
@JaCieKochams2 I dont have the time to build my own and I was tired of keeping the old gateway up and running. I can build my own yes but when you dont have the time to do it then the next best thing is to have it built for you. Belive me my old computer was on its last legs and it can't be repaired anymore I was doing my own repairs to keep it up. and it kinda burnt me out. at times the thing would be down for up to 3 months.
@JaCieKochams2 How is it a rip off? I have built a PC there and ready to buy it, even paying the $95 it costs for shipping its better and cheaper than other stores? Plus they have awsome deals a goodies updated on mondays and some fridays.
@Sinkatze It caused over $1000 in damages to ipods etc... All because they wired the front USB ports to the IEEE conection... They did not figure it out I did. They did not test it I had to. I had to solve the problem myself then pay out the ass because "Our warranty does not cover person items that get damaged by the PC" They I had to pay to send it back then they made me pay the 15% restock fee and the damaged motherboard even though they said they would wave it. Smells of rip off.
@MickeyLBrown They also used refurbished parts... Liquid cooling case and psu
