well this game is easy if u don't play it on the harderst mode i mean in the easy mode that you are playing u can easy make alliance you asked for trade agrement and they ask you for alliance, this is waaaaaaaaaay to easy

no. when you play on the hardest mode they game is unrealistically difficult. The other nations will refuse to cooperate. The game is schewed for a normal campaign, any other setting will cause weird stuff to happen.

the last time i played this i almost token out the nearest russian land when they attacked me than they wanted to stop fighting i said ok than near 30th turn or so russia and denmark attacked me at once. haha

Sweden is hard as hell to play. too be honest. No trade to the south becuase of denmark, and its just an endless war with Russia to the far east.

@ThePatricco correct me if im wrong but russia cant have a fleet in the baltic unless they have taken st petersburg which u should never allow to happen. Anyways what i did a couple of days ago was just rushing denmark in the 2nd or 3rd turn and it worked fine:)

Sage, try get a colony in America, this will make alot of money for you to achieve your goals.

In vanilla you could expect that Russia, Denmark and Poland would attack you in the second turn, sometimes even Courland joined. Too be historically correct it really happened in the beginning of the 18th century, but the annoying-factor was immense when you were playing Sweden. But great choice!

Get a peace treaty with the Ottomans ASAP. That gets the Barbary pirates off your back which makes trade much easier. Do most of your tech trading with the Maratha. Send an Indiaman or two to the Indies to start getting spices. It'll be a while before they're at any real risk. You'll have time to build reinforcements. Lastly, consider taking out the Innuit for a toehold in the Americas. You can take most of Canada with little hassle if you try.
