@easyrider332 californication was a great album & triumph for the band none the less. when you consider johns contribution to the record given what he was doing a few years earlier.. Both by the way & stadium, although good, were pretty 'safe' albums I think & coming from a group of guys that made a name doing the opposite of safe, I found hard to swallow at times. Johns playing & use of effects etc on stadium was brilliant, I just wish the others were feeling as adventurous as him at that time.
