Note that in one of those photos is the very first 4-string electric bass guitar-invented by Mr. Tutmarc about 15 years before Leo Fender's version revolutionized the music biz.
YES!!! Bass was not invented by a black person!! Now I can prove how wrong those stereotypers are!

I just purchased a book on the history of music in Washington State. In it is a picture of the bass and states it was invented by Mr. Tutmarc.
