Now if the rock hall induction committee bozos had class like Mr. Clarke they would show their mettle and induct William Clarke. However, since the bee gees, run dmc, the cure, iggy poop and stooges were inducted then there is no honor for any of the class acts still not recognized. That place has no credibility nor criteria!
he was just like a uncle too me im shakey jake son!!! samuel harris!!! i miss him so much!!! i remeber clearly as day he brought my mother a watermellon and trukey for thinkgiving!!! rod piazza bobbie blueband wollingwolf smokey wilson!!! and more i remeber all the blue sing when i was little boy!!! god bless his soul!!!! amen i miss u bill clark i see you one day peace!!! your nephew sam!!!
Bill was not even at his peek when he passed , he was a genius with an extremely creative flare that has not be close to being matched by any on i have heard !Miss you RIP !
guy's good, but he couldn't hold a candle to my Mom's step-brother, Jr. Carter. only two harp players i've ever seen that came close are Little Walter and James Cotton. No fooling! you've never heard of him, but the guy really was THAT good. died in an arson fire when i was a kid after ruining his life with drink. why do so many of the great ones have to die like that? RIP, Junior. you really were the best!
Yes, without that groove not much happens. What was it Herbie Hancock said, back in his days with Miles Davis? Something like: "If the tempo is right, then the tempo IS the music"
The tempo was definitely right on My Last Goodbye!
outstanding!!

This is one of my favorite slow blues tunes, and has played it live many times. Wish I had the quality guitar players Bill always had behind him!
