He lived tht Veera character whereas AB killed it. Raavanan will always remain a classic mani ratnam flick just like the rest. Take a bow son. You deserve the national award

Here's something unique i like to imagine. Since Vikram played Veera in the tamil version...*spoiler alert*....and as he died and fell off the cliff he states, "i will be back to touch and love your soul". So now in a way when you watch the hindi version after, its like reliving the movie all over again but this time Ragini is living her life all over again with Veera in her soul and life.

I like the way Reena Bhardwaj has sung this, but IMHO Shreya has sung this song much better in the Tamil version 'Kalvare Kalvare'. Shreya's voice sounds much more soothing and sensuous and that's even more commendable considering the fact that she doesn't even know the language. I know a little bit of Tamil, Shreya's pronunciation in that song is impeccable, it shows how much effort she has put in.
