the pure voice of a boy soprano is absolutely fitting for the role of gabriel. many women sopranos tend to overdo certain things (e.g. slides, vibrato etc.)

They have beautiful voices. I wonder who is the soloiste here. My choir boy days are behind me but I will always love the music..

The training begins when the boys are 6 y. old! When they are coming to their 1st schoolyear! I was a Wiener Sänger Knabe too! Maybe the best time of my life!!!

Wonderful performance, but not uncommon in European choirs. For these children, training begins at an early age. Lucky for them!!!By the way, he was sharp alright, BUT NOT IN PITCH!!!

this boychoir is new to me - I should have liked to have been at the performance; it sounds full of spirit. The solo boy is a little sharp at times but I love his full-on sound.
