FAIL. Scanning passengers doesn't stop bombs from getting on airplanes. The aircrews, maintenance crews, cleaning & service crews, and baggage crews can place bombs on a plane. Complaining about privacy issues with regards to body scanners is like complaining about privacy issues when a doctor looks at you while you are naked. It's necessary to ensure the safety of you and your fellow passengers, and if you do not like it, then do not choose to fly. So what! Flying is a previlege not a right. If you don't like it, take a bus or train. I would go naked throught the damn scanner if needed. I'm not hung up on my body and I am glad that nobody getting on the same jet as I will have explosives. Nobody is forcing anyone to board the jet. The supposed "backscatter" image he's looking at is, in fact, a Photoshop-inverted picture of a nekkid woman with a gun. It's fake, in other words -- and not an actual example of what the backscatter and/or millimeter wave scanners produce.
I used to work for Cessna. An airplane is an aluminum fuel tank that can fly. Their must be thousands of ways to blow one up, without being caught. This video is BOGUS! The head area of an actual scan is blurred. also because it is an X-ray, it looks like a negative, but it is not. Reversing the negative, doe NOT make it look positive. This guy took a picture of a woman and reversed the negative in photoshop and claimed it was from a TSA screening machine. Then he reversed the negative to show the actual picture that he (or someone else) took. The TSA screening shots are not that detailed or clear.

FAIL. Scanning passengers doesn't stop bombs from getting on airplanes. The aircrews, maintenance crews, cleaning & service crews, and baggage crews can place bombs on a plane. What if TSA showed up in Malls, grocery stores, gas stations, etc. and said you could only enter if you went through a body-scanner? Rights cannot be taken without due process. It's necessary to ensure the safety of you and your fellow passengers, and if you do not like it, then do not choose to fly. I think that body scanners a complete invasion and not necessary. But, that picture you are demonstrating with is a fake created by taking a nude picture and inverting it to look like a body scan, which is why reversing it again works so well..

So what! Flying is a previlege not a right. If you don't like it, take a bus or train. I would go naked throught the damn scanner if needed. I'm not hung up on my body and I am glad that nobody getting on the same jet as I will have explosives. Nobody is forcing anyone to board the jet. If you chose to board a jet, then take the good with the bad. Personally, I fail to see the bad. Plastic explosives are not detected by metal detectors.

this inversion only works for the photo he shows in the video. I've tried it for several other body scans and it does not work. Its most likely a hoax. Anyway, what pisses me off is that they keep pushing this war on terror on us and intelligent people like me have to put up with it. I think that there are different reasons for these searches. its not about terrorist, its about making the US citizens get used to feeling like criminals so one day that will be our life and we will get used to them telling us everything we must do and what we cant do.. they want to dictate every aspect of our lives. we are not the criminals. the terrorist are . i just really think there is alot more to this than just catching bad guys. its about controling us.

Over Thanksgiving someone asked if I wanted body scanners or to get blown up in midair. Neither. When the former head of Ben Gurion (Israel) airport says he can smuggle enough explosives to blow up a plane through one of those monstrosities, that ends the debate right there. The system is a symptom of desperation and Michael Chertoff's need to bring in gov bucks for his client who makes those things. Trade in freedom for safety? How about trade it for nothing?

The supposed "backscatter" image he's looking at is, in fact, a Photoshop-inverted picture of a nekkid woman with a gun. I used to work for Cessna. An airplane is an aluminum fuel tank that can fly. Their must be thousands of ways to blow one up, without being caught. This video is BOGUS! The head area of an actual scan is blurred. also because it is an X-ray, it looks like a negative, but it is not. Reversing the negative, doe NOT make it look positive. This guy took a picture of a woman and reversed the negative in photoshop and claimed it was from a TSA screening machine. Then he reversed the negative to show the actual picture that he (or someone else) took. The TSA screening shots are not that detailed or clear.

But I find it wrong for lies to be put out there to scare people and spread more apprehension and distrust. I would prefer someone see the screening picture (where the face is blurred) than to have a guy rub his hand up and down my thighs and buttocks, I'm sure the TSA agent feels the same way, unless he is a pervert.
