if youre gona go with a hard tail go for one of Norcos shore hardtials. And also id stay away from dimond back. Try Giant, Kona, Santacruz, Yeti, Specialized and Iron Horse

yeah stay away from diamondback.
any of the brands mentioned above make suitable hardtail freeride bikes. but I would especially recommend banshee and rocky mountain as well
