hey man i really like the car.... i was thinking about getting a 07 altima but after seeing this vid im getting a maxima.... but i was curious about Ur gas... is it due to CAI n exhaust for the god mpg and how much do u average in mpg??? thanks
Too bad you didnt show the white celica (me) beating you lol. We were about dead even but i had a bad clutch, the issue has been resolved and i look forward to racing you this year. Oh ya and its not a turbo it was a 100 shot of nos and now its 200.
@3bhilton Yeah, I never fixed the video after i found out it was nos. I think you knocked me out after you beat me on our 3rd race. I have a hard time getting off the line on that track, and I'm no pro when it comes to being consistent with my launch. We will have to run them again sometime. That 200 shot must be pretty damn quick lol.
@thelahmayer it is a good time and i look forward to another fun season regardless of winning or losing. Your car is a great looking machine any way you cut it. Mine is one ugly mother and needs some paint. Good luck this summer.

I plan to go to a quarter mile track on sunday to see what she will do. I am not the best driver, but I hope to see 14s. I will post vids when I get back. This track is just a small town track for hornet class races and stuff. It is the closest thing we have to a street race in our area...
Your Max is a tight. I have a 04 Max with a six speed Manual and about to add a Nismo Cold air Intake and a cat back exhaust. Have you considered maybe adding a lighter flywheel and a stage one Clutch. I had a 97 Maxima with a five speed manual and upgrading the clutch and adding a lighter flywheel increased the take off greatly
Thanks man. I really want a stage 1 or 2 flywheel/clutch setup. I can tell by revving the engine in neutral that it is robbing alot of my launch power and 1st gear torque. The automatic Maximas have a much lighter flywheel and are thus quicker out of the hole. I want to put one in soon, but its all a matter of money. I will post a before/after video when I get it done, Thanks again man.
very nice maxima the 6 speeds are the ones with balls !! i think you should get some quad tips those ones look a little big under that bumper but still awesome car...and now i have to ask was that an automatic sho cuz i know an MTX would not be an easy kill like that
I'm pretty sure it was a manual SHO because when I talked to him before the race he said first gear was spinning out or something. I agree that it needs quad tips, but I didn't have the money to go for a custom magnaflow system. Thanks tho for the comment. I'm lookin at headers and high flow cats. Slowly but surely I'm adding stuff to her.
