@mp88mp88mp88mp88 - The brand is Deltech, although I don't recall the model number. I purchased it online a few years back as they were offering free shipping. I've posted a few DIY options for racks to my main site however (rosstraining). If you search the homemade equipment archives, you'll find a few previous entries. Email me if you can't find the links.
Thanks Ross. Great video. The band method is what i use. I bought a pack of single bands in 3 strengths just for pullups. This is the first time i've heard your voice, it's not what i expected! You sound like Mike Tyson! :-)
thank you for all the recent tutorials. great stuff as always. it cracked me up how you casually continue the discussion while performing the plyo pushups.
@wobblejuice - A chair appears similar but is actually quite different. With a band, you fall through the band, in that it isn't a solid surface. The difference may not be evident until trying both but it is considerable. Bands are also much more useful when progressing towards more difficult movements such as one-arm chins.
I really like your ideas. As always great and inspirational video tutorial. Thank you for this new ideas. I like your style so much because its so directly and original.
so cool! :D gotta grab resistance band now!

Right on Ross! I'm saying that based on my own experience with both ways of performing this exercise. I prefer the bands much more than a chair.
