  • I likey the music choices, and it seems like the guy working the tables is having so much fun.

  • Well... music. Everybody has his own taste so I will shut up regarding that. Years ago I was starting form similar tunes. Just asking about mixer. Any cons? I am getting it soon just researching what may be wrong with it. Many people complain about filter "pop" sound when engaging. Do it really make that noise? Any other issues?

  • @mikelo303

Hey! I listen to different kind of music, no only to this (in fact, i haven't listened to hands up in a year =))

Oh yeah...the mixer...one suggestion: DO NOT BUY =)) The filter is useless, cause u have to switch between low and high filter and u can't activate both at the same time (the knob is different direction for low and high as well, so you have to switch one filter off, turn the knob and apply the second filter every time you want to switch between them).

  • @Z1ppQ Thanks. Yeah I know about this. This is Old School idea of mixing, more step-by-step. I was considering Pioneer 350 mixer but I am not big fan of that company. Anyway, thanks for info. Maybe you want to sell it? :)

  • @mikelo303 I meant new Pioneer 250 mixer with two filter knobs.

  • Yes, the sound is VERY noticeable and what's even worse - if you're buying it to connect to an external fx, you'll have the same sound upon turning it on. I neither use those buttons nor the filter at all. But the worst thing about this mixer is that BOTH of the faders on my mixer are now BROKEN! and it's not the regular sliding/scraping sound. I've broken the metal clips which hold the plastic fader caps!

  • Sorry for 3 comments. This stupid youtube...

Of course my style of djing is a bit aggressive, but this has never happened on any other mixers I've used. And my A&H was only 2 years old! Also, my personal opinion is that although A&H are analogue, Pioneer mixers have better sound! On xone22 the sound can get overdriven/distorted, when on pioneer u have that deep bassy sound without any distortion. Conclusion: don't buy cheap mixers, even if they're from a good brand!

  • Good job :D

  • Are those turntables Stanton T62?

  • Nice mix, defs not my choice in tunes, but i plan on getting the Xone 22 in the next day or two,

Just wondering what a good audio interface would be, because i plan on using my launchpad with traktor and ableton for mixing, dont have enought o buy turntables, dont know if i ill ever get them, but yeh haha

  • i like your tenminmix very much good songs and very well mixing, if you would you can have a look at my tenminmixes

  • The haters here know nothing about dj'ing. A dj playing music that isnt your style doesnt mean its a bad mix or a crap dj. enjoyed watching a mix with turntables, good beatmatching too.

  • GReat mixxxx. great job handiling the haters

Ill also add a Kontrol X1 into the setup, but ill be playing more Minimal and Detroit Techno, and mix some Tech Trance and Normal Trance songs into it as well. But nevertheless, cheers man! :D

  • from readin the comments i seem to be the only person tht likes the music, the mixing nd seems to understand tht ur not usin analog. great mix nd i wanna see more, cuz its great

  • wenn das jetzt nich so schwule mucke wäre, dann würd ich dich feiern, weil das mixen an sich gut is ;-)

  • i like your still but dont digg the music. still dosent take away the respect though ;)

how does the traktor work with the mixer?

  • @Chirsbom

That is timecode he is using for mixing with traktor

search it in google yoyu will find lots of useful!!

  • Definitely like the choice of music just ignore the immature individuals they most likely don't even have a setup of their own...

  • awesome

  • really nice. здравствуй from srbija ! :D

  • Dope! glad c u having fun and enjoying the music what its all about : ) my xone should be arriving this week cant wait!!!!

  • anyone can explain timecode vinyl to me ? :D

I personally started mixing with "real" vinyls half a year ago and thanks to ellaskins it gets better and better.

But what is the sense of timecode ? I thought its just for having a vinyl FEELING but in fact traktor or any other software syncs the tracks for you.

But in your video you are beatmatching^^ ..... so what does timecode vinyl actually do with the tracks (of course you can play digital on analog tts, thats obvious :D)

  • @Jockl666 It depends on your personal style. If you're using timecode vinyls you're able to manipulate your digital tracks like they would be on vinyl. The timecode-vinyl don't have any sound on them, just the so called timecode which gives the software the info what you are doing with your tt... with the software there comes also a needed audio interface which decodes the timecode and sends it to your computer via usb. For the auto-sync...

  • @Jockl666 ...it's a function of the software, it doesn't have anythingto do with the timecode itself and it doesn't automatically beatmatch for you, you're still able to do it traditional and it's not like the function is 100% accurate ;)

It is a great deal for DJ's that won't give up on their "old" tt's but also want to profit of the various features of digital DJ'ing.

    Peace

  • Sounds kinda like happy hardcore. Just saying.

  • Hello mate how you use xone 22 with traktor i mean you use audio 4 dj cause i want to take xone 22 and i dont know how i will use it with traktor

    thenx

  • Got a question about the mixer... how is it? is it easy to work with?? I wanna buy one too!

gonna be playing electro house, trance maybe a bit of hardcore.

been playing with Virtual Dj, Mix Vibes then Traktor... Starting to hate Mouse and keyboard in mixing :/ not enough physical controls for me.

    thx

  • ur very good at mixing m8t just the music i dont realy like but i love it at a rave or something :)

  • great mix, very well and btw great beat 100% perfect

  • very creative mixing!!!

  • EURO TRASH!!!! THIS SHIT IS GAY!!! AND IM NOT SORRY.....

  • cool;) ich hör zwar hiphop aber geht ab

  • @dominiccss

you're a knob. a door knob, a mixer knob or any other kind of knob you care to think about. so the music isn't to everyone's taste, so Fu**ing what? you say this guy is shite? I think his mixing ain't bad. you say you can do better? prove it

  • Hey! I'll be honest. I don't really like handsup music. My main style is minimal.

But this mix is very good and i love your setup, especially the mixer, the headphones ,the timecode system , the macbook, the pickups, and the vinyl players. :D Keep on doing the good work.

  • hi, very good sound,

    one Info please:

By xone22 you can use all 4 decks with Traktor Scratch Pro?

  • What were you connected to the fx/loop section on the back of the mixer?

Could you send traktor fx to the mixer ?

  • you can make even a ten mix Hands-Up? greeeeeatt

  • @dominiccss this shit is called MUSIC, u fucker. You should kill yourself if u don't like it, bitch.

Yeah, a little bit rough, I know, but how to teach a dumbass without bad words?

  • @dominiccss if you think youre better, do a video and let me insult you :P

  • @iVertele

lol, I don't think I'm better. I KNOW that a fucking shit load of people are tonnes better than this buffoon.

  • @dominiccss :(

  • @dominiccss What is the pint in slagging off someones taste in music?! I don't like this music that much but he's obviously passionate about it so i respect that. I hate people like you who just bash other peoples tastes. Have you not go anything better to do with your life? Maybe you need a hobby.

  • Only watched this video to see the xone 22, but it was nice to see you getting into your mix instead of standing like a stiff lol. Nice work with he faders as someone already said.

  • @dominiccss the first song sucks

  • hamma hamma geile übergänge alta hammer gute titelwahl

  • boww alta was für übergänge hammer hammer gut;) greeece digga

  • great mix!

  • awesome :D

  • Very Nice Job Bro :D !!

Are you happy with your stanton turntables, will you remake this choice if you have to ? Cause i want to buy these.

Second question what are you using to hook you turntables ? Rane Sl 1 ? Or you use a basic soundcard ? In virtual dj or serato ?

    Thank's :) Keep it up i subbed :)

  • I don't very much like the music you mix, but hey, you're using vinyl turntables, props to that , very much like the agressive mixing style

  • Very nice mix bro!! I really like the transitions and the song list. Keep up the great work=))

  • I Can't stop to listen your tenminmix :D

    Very very very nice!!

    please upload more!!

  • Good video mate, I really like your mixing style. Definitely not my type of music but your skills on the decks remind me a lot of how I used to mix back when I played out at clubs. A few little tricks here and there on the faders work well.

Good to see someone who is clearly enjoying their mixing as well. At the end of the day, it's all about having fun :)

  • @hellsravenkane

Hey! Thanks, mate! Fun it is! I totally agree with that! =))

  • Be careful on the vocals. They have to match harmonically. It's even more important for you since you have a "cut straight in" mixing style. Try finding a software which tells you the key for each song and learn the harmonic circle, improves the set a lot. Nice music though.

  • i just like you... i dont know why but i like you... you're a PARTYPEOPLE!!

  • Ar you german? because dj phil nie wieder you play handz up??

  • @DJLaMarvin

No, I'm not german, I'm russian, I just like hands up and there's a lot of german hands up everywhere =))

  • AWESOME!!^^

  • good mix but me and this music just do not get along lol not hating on u this is ur preferance u mix very well be a little creative with ur mixing in instead of slamming it in sometimes it sounds like im being forced into the mix but other then great job keep up the work u do a hell of a job

  • @DjArthurAbrahamyan

Thanks! I'll try my best to be more creative, despite hands up being very predictable style of music. Also I'll be getting my new traktor kontrol x1 in two weeks or so, it'll give me possibilities in using loops, hotcues and other tasty stuff =))

  • oh wow i just noticed haha you dont use vinyls i was like how are you gonna use the kontrol with turntables?? lol well oh well digital or vinyl atleast ur a dj and not a jukebox so cant wait to see ur new mixes and any tips for me having good quality videos so i can mix for youtube to?

  • how much cost the pair of ortofon?

  • @DeLLaEnrico

Actually, I don't remember, but I guess it was something like $250 for the double set. (with 2 needles in it)

  • german handsup :)

  • really nice sehr nice ^^

  • whoo very nice mix :) All the transitions are a bit the same... but they're all very smooth :)! I Like it!

  • really nice :)

check out my tenminmix mate =)

  • youre welcome ,that mixer your using its a good one, whats it worth £250 get your moneys worth , and my other advice is you have turntables use vinyl not traktor throw it away its rubbish digital djing is killing the dj world . all the best....

  • Yes, I know and I would really love to do that, but It's not possible right now =((( I just simply can't find vinyls I need...hands up is a very rare style...

Oh, and vinyl costs a lot =)) Buying a vinyl for £6 only for one song is too expensive for me =((

P.S. I've bought vinyl turntables for playing real vinyls in the first place, but it turned out it was to difficult for me to get new vinyls =((( So I had to buy Traktor...

  • well the percussion, bassline, melody & vocals all sound the same ,awful , all frequencies sound the same, you should use your eq controls creatively , not too much , but highlight the tracks ,all you did was slam in the bass and cut it ,tweak the EQs to pick out different instruments of a track & the energy on this was too in yer face pace your sets , dont burn out its boring & loveless ,i wish you all the best ...

  • Oh, I see... Thanks for the advice! =))

  • @ TTTRRRAAA3, I want you to make a tenminmix handsup mix and us what you got since you seem to know a lot about creativity.

  • not for me this ,well its terrible , all the vocals were terrible , and what were you doing ?........

  • Hmm..what? =)) What do you mean what were I doing? =)) And why is it terrible? Why didn't you like the vocals? Average "hands up" style vocals, nothing special, they're supposed to be this way.

  • Great Songs, great mix - great job!

  • nice mix ;)

i hope i can buy my first tts soon ;)

  • great mix..totally feelin it!!!

  • nice mix :)

  • 5* Gr8 Job ;)

  • Cool mix dude i like it!!!

  • nice mix i LOVE the Bad Day remix

  • Thanks =)) Yeah, Daniel P. rocks! =))

  • Very smooth transitions, I like it! Btw I see you Traktor Scratch Pro; how would you say does it compare to the Serato stuff (usability, price)?

  • Sorry, but I've never used Serato, so I can't compare it, but Traktor does a great job! I've used Traktor since the 2nd version. There was no "scratch" option in the program and I used it just on my PC. I really got used to it. =))
